Put simply record executives shouldn't be promoting wrestling events. If you've been watching their videos, one of their earliest featured a great deal of footage of R-Truth in what I believe was Pro Pain Wrestling. When that video was put together one of the execs involved expressed his opinion that the UWF should see if they would be able to get him on their roster. Someone tried to explain to him how the WWE wouldn't let one of their talents go onto another companys PPV. I was told today that the same exec has been going around claiming that the WWE's decision to put R-Truth in the main event of their PPV is directly linked to the interest he displayed.
