a direct to dvd horror film - a woman who i think was maybe pregnant in the beggining of the film goes to a remote desolated farmhouse with her brother in an obscure European country that i cannot recall. upon arrival, they meet zombie versions of themselves which appear in different places throughout the house and do nothing but stare at them and generally act creepy. as the story unfolds, the house is revealed to be the protagonists original home and their abusive father's ghost is what is causing all of the scariness. i remember a scene towards the end of three pigs eating the brother, literally tearing off chunks of flesh. Its an old stop motion movie that was probably made in the 60s or 70s (leaning towards 60s) that I THINK used to air on Cartoon Network in the 90s as a late-night movie. I don't remember much except it had almost no actual humans, just two petite main characters in a human world "frozen" in time, trying to save the world from a huge cloud of ink that was gradually taking over everything. It was on every so often and I remember never watching it for all that long, but I'd really love to see it again if I could. I think one of the characters had a top hat. Think back on it, it could have been straight animation and maybe not stop-motion. It's been nearly 20 years.

Trying to find a movie, the only scene I remember is an apartment where a young couple has a phone shaped like a penis, and this older lady who I think was the girl's mother goes to use it and says something like, "If you think I'm going to reach out and touch someone with that thing, you've got another thing coming." I'm pretty sure it was a similar movie with loosely interconnected scenes like the Kentucky Fried Movie or Amazon Women on the Moon. I used to think it was in the Kentucky Fried Movie until I recently re-watched it.

This was a cartoon I saw a few times as a kid. I thought about it this morning and now I can't get it out of my head. It all took place in a lake, or at least underwater. There was a main character, but I don't really know what kind of animal he was. I think a cricket or some waterbug. He got beaten a lot with a stick by a King, who I'm pretty sure was a frog. I think he was in love with the Princess. The part I very clearly remember is that there was a catfish involved. It was supposed to be the big baddy, eating tadpoles or something. He talked and was evil. One big part of the story was finding a dogfish to chase out the catfish. The dogfish was a bit smaller, but ferocious. Another thing I remember is crabs or turtles or other shelled animals withdrawing their limbs and launching themselves at enemies. It was quite violent, with the kid getting beaten and some big fights.

Okay, here goes. This is a movie that would have been in rotation on Showtime or Cinemax during the late 80s or early 90s. The story is about a professional guy who is engaged to get married. He travels to a shop to customize the sweetest sports car ever made and plans to drive it home to meet up with his bride to be, a virginal brunette. While at the customization shop, a leggy, suicide blonde 80s vixen directs him to a throne fitted with a keyboard and large screen where he can add everything he wants to his awesome car. He goes through so many options that he fries the machine. His awesome car gets ordered and made and he drives off with the blonde, who has short hair. He bangs her and has second thoughts about his engagement to the brunette. At some point along his road trip, the red super-car gets totaled. A crane picks it up and drops it on it's front as well. I'm pretty sure a chunk of the movie takes place in a desert region. I don't remember how the movie ends. Halp! Been thinking about this one for ages.

I think I know the movie, but I'm drawing a blank on any of the actors. Did the auto repair shop have a guy on a director's crane? Was there a dream sequence with him in a canoe paddling away from his fiance? EDIT: Holy poo poo, I think I actually found it. I've tried this one in numerous "id that movie" threads over the years and nobody has gotten it. Time to try again. I saw this movie on television, I couldn't even tell you how many years ago but I'll say in the neighborhood of 10-14 years. The main scene I remember takes place in a club or a bar. A man and a woman sit down at a table facing each other and they strap themselves down. This ball of energy appears between them and they try to push it into each other with their minds or some crazy poo poo like that. The woman loses and dies. Other minor details that may or may not be correct: -- the hero was an asian guy -- there was an older blonde lady involved somehow and at one point the asian guy is holding her. I think she asked him to do it -- I believe there is a chip of some kind involved. It's what everyone's looking for, maybe. -- there is possibly some alternate reality type poo poo going on. I remember finding the energy ball game scene rather disturbing, because I was fairly young and it struck me as really dumb to play a game where you've got a 50% chance of dying. I would greatly appreciate finding out what movie this is so I can track it down and watch it again.

I am trying to remember another alien invasion movie that I saw on TV sometime in the mid nineties. I remember that the aliens were tall and had backwards facing knees. They invaded secretly and the main character was the first (or one of the first) to see them. It is possible that it was a TV-movie or miniseries. I'm sure it was not the X-files, but it may have been sort of similar.

I love this thread. I'm thinking of a made-for-tv movie from the mid to late 90's. It would have been on CBS network tv. The flick was a near-future sci-fi version of The Lottery. One of those utopias where all is good until you find out that if you peel back the satin curtain, things are evil. So, every now and then, all the families in the suburbs sit down around their televisions and tune in to this lottery. Numbers are drawn and if yours comes up, the rest of the community gets out their silver aluminum bats and hunts you down. Mobs of suburbanites flood the streets with these bats. Huge outdoor screens release information to the public and I remember a couple stadium scenes as well. I believe the main character was a teenager, but I'm hazy on that.

In the Sliders version, winners were treated quite well before being killed. I don't think there was a bat-wielding suburban mob.

He manages to develop a machine that transfers a living being to a parallel universe, a universe that exists "between atoms" or the space within matter, where life is seemingly perfect in every way. His friends get in on the action and in a show of self-centered behavior, make an attempt to stay in the parallel universe and never go back home. It is at this point that the movie's psychological elements begin, as signs of the new world's demons and imperfections begin to take shape. ... This world seems like a paradise at first. No war. No money. Things like cars are left on the street for anyone to use whenever and wherever you live. However, it has its dark side in that this world has a brutal way of dealing with undesirables. They randomly pick people from the population to be runners in a game where they are hunted and bashed to death with baseball bats

I remember seeing a movie, which I thought was Wargames, but it's not. The only scene I remember is a kid walking into a room with a bunch of kids playing "video games." Except every screen seems to be them playing some FPS where they are in the air, throwing down bombs on various real world places, like highways, streets, and gas stations. And the kid tries to get everyone to stop saying things like " you aren't playing video games, you're actually blowing up real highways" but all the kids are fixated on blowing poo poo up. agh, forgot. I believe this was around 12-15 years ago possibly on TV.

I saw this on the Sundance channel a few weeks ago, I would guess it was made within the last four years. I only caught the last hour or so, but from what I remember, three strangers had their flight canceled, or something, and decided to rent a car together to drive to what I believe was California. At the end, one of the characters sells some type of valuable item where he either gives, or tries to give, the money he receives to another main character, possibly for tuition. Thank you to anyone who knows.

I need help identifying 1 movies. These are older movies, the first one being about late 1980's / early 90's. Movie #1 - Its about a teenager that turns invisible. In one scene, he messes with his friend's fast food dinner, by making the hamburger talk to him, saying "don't eat me! Oh od no, don't eat me!" .. in another scene, he is invisible, up on the rim of his school's rival basketball team, deflecting shots. This happens later in the movie. EDIT: Found the 2nd one. I have looked for this movie several times through google and can't find anything. I'm just curious to see if it actually exists, or if my friend was bullshitting me in middle school, I don't really want to see it. The movie must have come out before 2000. I swear I remember him saying the movie was called "Gore", but there is no movie before 2000 called that relating to what I remember him saying. This is a horror movie, and these people are held captive in jail cells in some sort of compound. They are tortured mercilessly, and specifically one girl tries to escape and gets caught and something terrible happens to her. The one detail I remember for sure is that a man cries so much that his captors collect all his tears using some contraption hooked to his eyes, and then use them for something. Does this ring any bells?
