He showed off his dick during his appearance at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival. According to our sources, Andy Dick sought drugs such as cocaine and marijuana before his appearance later that evening, and in a highly drug intoxicated state went onstage in Portland dressed in women’s clothes and then exposed himself during his performance taking off his skirt and standing bottomless before a packed audience.

Wiki posted:On July 17, 2007, at the Laugh Factory comedy club in Los Angeles, Dick was in an altercation with his former NewsRadio co-star Jon Lovitz, who claimed that, a year earlier, Dick had approached Lovitz at a restaurant and said, "I put the Phil Hartman hex on you; you're the next one to die," and demanded an apology from Dick. Lovitz has accused Dick of re-introducing Hartman's wife to cocaine, who had a relapse, killed Hartman while he slept in his Encino, California home, and shot herself. When Lovitz joined the cast of NewsRadio as Hartman's replacement in its fifth and final season, he told Dick: "I wouldn't be here now if you hadn't given Brynn that cocaine."

Speaking of which, haven't listened to that WTF yet, does Andy take any responsibility for his addictions/general-fuckery yet these days? For more interesting Andy Dickery check him out on Joe Rogan's podcast..and for even more on him check out Dave Foley on Rogan's cast. Both are extremely interesting. As far as the Smod/Lovitz/Dick thing goes I don't think it's ever going to happen. Dick was supposed to start doing his show from the Smodcast theater but it was abruptly cancelled and a week or two later the announcement came out that the whole Smod universe was moving to the Lovitz and the theater was being re-named. I am totally into the Rogan Podcast, I love how long they are and some of his guests are great. Love MMA quite a bit so it was neat to hear Bas Ruten and a few others.

Of course not it's everyone else's for for paying attention to him when he's a fuckup and other people offer him drugs and for some reason he just can't say no thanks or not go to clubs. Seriously Dick just pissed me off when he talked about his various addictions. Yes traumatic things happened to you but that's not a license to get high and be a douche then complain nobody likes you.

Is there anything out there that's like the Bill Burr podcast, where it's just one comedian rambling on about whatever? I can't seem to get into anything like UYD or CDR, but I'm in love with the Monday Morning Podcast. That, and Judge John Hodgeman, because John Hodgeman is the man. I hate when his guests won't stop laughing, though.

I just don't really pay that much attention I guess. The show is not polished at all which means there is going to be a level of...I don't know realness I guess. So he's just out there babbling on not thinking of what he's saying and yeah some dumb poo poo does come out but I like some of the interviews. He's a total meathead, and I guess I find that a little charming because i've spent my life around people like him who are really genuine and just silly. If I want deep insight or more polish I'll go for CDR or WTF but I like it because they're long as gently caress and I can flow in and out of my office and not have to keep up too much with what's going on.

I think a good podcast would be Marc Maron and Joe Rogan together. The first half could be Maron with a textbook trying to teach Rogan basic grade school subjects. The second half would be Joe Rogan berating Maron in an attempt to get him to stop being such a huge pussy.

He's definitely not stupid, he's just ignorant about most things outside of his interests (like most people), and spends 2-4 hours in front of a microphone rambling while stoned every week. If you think he's literally stupid, you haven't spent enough time on the internet. He also generally admits that he's wrong when corrected which is more than can be said about the vast majority of people and seems overall like an ok guy, so I don't have any issues with being entertained with his podcast, even though he occasionally drops in some dumb poo poo.
