Has anyone else commented on Kat's new hairstyle, it's amazing. The utmost key to a good strong and lasting friendship is of course your hair.

Still not over the fact that we don't know who Jones is. I mean that was an important character, yo. Very funny, leaving us in the dark and mocking us, Mr. author!

No, see, the problem with Lost is they tried to explain everything, but did a lovely job of it.

Never watched Lost but an example would be the star wars prequels and the expanded universe.

Tom, if you happen to be reading this: please never stop messing with us. It is seriously one of the best things about the comic.

dumb brunette posted:This is Gunnerkrigg Court in summary. Tom is Coyote, the readers are Annie. Pretty much yes, but when you compare GC to tv series like Lost (I gave up after two seasons), it actually gives you answers regularly*, but still keeps up the tension. And that's why I love it. *) Seriously, read some early chapters and you know what those cryptic ideas mean.

Zany Annie is a clone Coyote grew while she was in the forest. Jones is future Antimony sent back by mad scientist Kat to correct the timeline. And she has to carry lots of rocks in her pockets to keep from floating away into the Timelash.

Magnus Condomus posted:No, see, the problem with Lost is they tried to explain everything, but did a lovely job of it. The other problem with Lost is that it existed in a world that could be mistaken for ours. Seriously, the Court is in a world where people can teleport. Girls take mag lev trains to get a haircut without leaving the school. To get around, they use clockwork horses. There is a literal god that people just chill with from time to time. A merostomatazon named Lindsey who contains no fewer than 15 not eyes makes sure the girls' dorms don't spring a leak. If you really have a problem with a woman with some unexplained abilities, you may want to consider another comic.

VanSandman posted:Yes, Annie's rebelliousness and flippant attitude seem to be worrying Kat. I wonder what will come of it? Well it goes back to the last treatise, Annie of the forest and Kat of the court. They're united by love, but there is a sword in the heart. Looking back at the treatise, it is interesting that Renard is on Kat/the Court's side.
