My theory is that they to get people to drop their hard earned money, they just keep trying to change the kit to make it different. Now we're at the point where they're actively sabotaging the kits by changing them.

Honestly the best bet for them is just to keep doing anniversary kits rather than loving with a traditional design. Arsenal are doing their 125th anniversary kit, their away kit last year was a 20th anniversary kit of Anfield 89. Stuff like that is better than trying to change traditional kits and ruining them.

I laughed earlier in the thread when someone suggested they'll be making different winter and spring term shirts, which I can see happening no problem. Now the anniversary idea has me thinking like "key player's 100th match special edition jerseys," "5 year anniversary of the year a bunch of rich guys spent a lot of money limited special edition," etc.

I don't think it was available to buy, but there was a "25 years of Berlusconi" Milan kit that was worn for a game this season.

Here it is, if anyone's curious or hasn't seen it.

Here's Gattusso wearing it:

Looks like a training kit. Will probably try and get this year's on the cheap now, instead of getting that. Still much better than that Geordie abomination.

Yeah the logo fucks it up. Looks like Boro won't be able to hold on to the 'Best Football Shirt' trophy for a second year.

It's the Franconian crest on the left and the city on the right with "Franconia stands behind its club" written above. I couldn't find a pic, but this video has a good closeup.

Now this is better. Claret is much like dark blue and should be mandatory for all classic kits.
