harperdc posted:wrong German sportswear company My theory is that they to get people to drop their hard earned money, they just keep trying to change the kit to make it different. Now we're at the point where they're actively sabotaging the kits by changing them. Honestly the best bet for them is just to keep doing anniversary kits rather than loving with a traditional design. Arsenal are doing their 125th anniversary kit, their away kit last year was a 20th anniversary kit of Anfield 89. Stuff like that is better than trying to change traditional kits and ruining them.

I laughed earlier in the thread when someone suggested they'll be making different winter and spring term shirts, which I can see happening no problem. Now the anniversary idea has me thinking like "key player's 100th match special edition jerseys," "5 year anniversary of the year a bunch of rich guys spent a lot of money limited special edition," etc.

Thought they were sponsored by Harry Ramsden's for a moment there, then realised it's that pay day loan/scrap goal company with the awful adverts.

1. FC Nürnberg has a new home shirt, too. The stripes are supposed to be a throwback to this: Why we need a throwback to the forgettable early 80s I don't know.
