What do you guys think of this?: 1988 Pontiac Fiera I edited out all the location details* so one of you snatchmoes doesn't snatch it out from under me. I bet I can get the I4 that's in it running. Also way to go misspelling Fiero (is fiero a real word in a real language?) Also I bet I could talk him down to $500 (USD), which is what I can get from a junk yard for my seized (non-ricer'ed) '94 accord. *edit: Except for the phone number complete with area code, because I am capable of accomplishing one single, simple goddamned task. whose tuggin fucked around with this message at 02:27 on May 16, 2011 |

I know a local Fiero guy who has a few modified ones; - 3800 swapped daily driver - 3800 S/C swapped fast car - Son has a Northstar swapped Fiero The two 3800 swaps went super quick. The S/C swapped one not only sounds awesome, but retains some room in the engine bay to work on it.

In passenger cars tree shifters was the norm, it took until the early 60's (I think) for floor mounted shifters to become popular. My grandfather always told me it was because your hands were already on the wheel, so you just had to stick your fingers of your right hand out a little to grab the shifter.

There is no way shifting with that can be done with just fingers. The linkages are so worn that you require both your hands and sometimes some prayer.
