He does Fabrice Fabrice on CDRR episode #89. The episode also has a Harris' Foam Corner. table. Table? TABLE! Joementum fucked around with this message at 03:23 on May 18, 2011 |

He's also a voice on The Life and Times of Tim, he does video stuff as his other characters for entertainment blogs/shows/etc too. He's a pretty busy guy so I can see why he doesn't have his own podcast, I don't know if he would be good as a host though. For instance Paul Scheer is a really funny guy and I love him in everything he does but he's a terrible host on his own podcast.

Realized that I've heard him on a ton of podcasts, but I have no idea what he looks like or what his act is. Al Madrigal is on one of the Live WTF episodes, from last year at the Stumptown Comedy Festival. (Which ends with Brody Stevens! Do it!) I may be misremembering, but I think El Chupacabra was on at least one episode of Reno 911. He's also live at the Cat Ranch. Que pasa, baby!

Or maybe they could just release a best of CDR featuring all Chupacabra segments. A little late, but I completely disagree. El Chupacabra is best as an occasional guest, but any more frequent and it would become really old really fast. I can't imagine how annoying it would get if he had to carry an entire podcast every week in that character.

Yea despite my giant boner for him, I totally agree, if he came in every other show it'd lose a lot of the humor. I'd still love him doing a general character based podcast, that'd help avoid annoyance I think if he set it up as a biweekly thing or something.

Even once a month would be awesome. I can't believe I haven't thought of it before, but an episode in (Venice was it?) Europe would have been pretty dang cool, though I'm not sure which comedian would have done it. Probably why it didn't happen, I'm betting.

She kicked the idea around but couldn't make it gel. Hard enough getting it produced when she's within striking distance of the production team, much less across the ocean. I'm goading the poo poo out of her for a monthly show. Strike while the iron is hot and all. It's not the recording of it that takes so long, it's the production. The Maria ep was something like 4+ hours of good tape and it was murder cutting it down to 1.25. I know there is a lot of interest from her friends to do shows with her, which is super cool. When I met Patton Oswalt last month, he said he wanted to do one, as long as Michelle was down for hanging out at the park pushing his daughter on a swing.

I don't know Michelle Biloon but I like Maria Bamford so I didn't need much prodding to check it out. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure about the format. On one hand, it was new and different and I appreciate that. But much of the content seemed like background noise and I found I was easy distracted and often wasn't giving it the full half-attention I usually give to a podcast while I'm working. Even before you mentioned it, I was thinking about the amount of editing it must have taken to get it to a point where it could be published. I don't know if the end result justifies the amount of work that must have been put into it, unless of course she has interns or Kevin Smith doing it for free.
