I completely blanked on that, I've added it to the league.

And why haven't you joined??? I figured this would be right up your alley.

I'd say it's as good as any league to get your feet wet. Problem is, these types of tribute leagues tend to have trouble getting off the ground, I'd wager it's only 50/50 it'll fill even though we're nearly halfway there already. If you wanna give it a try go for it but I wouldn't count on ever actually seeing the league get underway.

Unless there's something tied to forum posting and buying a team which would be weird.

This is on the bottom of the Macho Man thread for me:

You do not currently have posting rights. A full-season game purchase must be made to post in the forums.

Final tally from mine and jeff's series (Maddux/Connor vs. Williams/Walsh): 63 runs scored to 63 runs scored, though I lost two of three. Final scores were 29-27, 20-10, 29-14.

Jesus christ Orval Overall is never going to make it. I thought 1600 innings were OK after TJeff got by with 1490 last year but poo poo is insane with all the Coors this time around.

Guys, protip, when the theme dictates your team will have beyond abysmal defense, the most hit friendly park you can find is probably not the best strategy.

Well, my cookie team was swept in the first round of the playoffs. Actually they were embarrassed in the first round with game 3, but moving on.

Here's my next iteration of that team, based on the theme of doing whatever it takes to win an open league championship, modified fairly heavily from the last time. As always, veteran opinions are greatly appreciated.

I'm really looking forward to this season of RC, I haven't done a dinger team in a while and the only guy on my team I've ever used a season of before is Dick Allen. There are a bunch of guys I've wanted to use before, too: the best seasons of Steve Carlton, Gorman Thomas, Robin Yount, Cecil Cooper and Rollie Fingers along with 2B-era Molitor.

Also the division looks like a cakewalk, everyone else really overdrafted IP and PA.
