Z3n posted:The other downside is the front end has real issues staying in contact with the ground whenever you go over a rise while you're on the throttle. Downside you say? I only get about 40mpg from my SMC, but that's because I live on an island with 35mph speed limits and more cars than road. Which is also the reason my oil is black as the ace of spades by 1500 miles.

I got around the same until I had a tank where I didn't wheelie for the first 50 miles...apparently you lose more than a little gas out the back vent if you wheelie it while it's nearly full. Need to buy a replacement gas cap that doesn't leak.

Just e-mailed the guy, and he says it's still available. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/2376000192.html Is this a good idea? The paint looks drat near new, but I'll have to see when I look at it. Anything to look out for? How come every time I want to buy a bike, it's in pieces? Edit: I think I could deal with the no title scenario if that issue comes up. It seems to be a deal-breaker for a lot of people. Can anyone give me thoughts on whether this is a decent deal? In my area prices tend to be inflated a little so it might be over what you'd see in a big city. Also, demand seems to be a lot higher than supply, probably drives price up more. Finally, I know I can get this down to $4500, there might be wiggle room to say $4300. http://stjohns.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-motorcycles-sport-bikes-2007-Kawasaki-Ninja-500-W0QQAdIdZ273942534

No, that's just the bikes natural British talent for moaning. Or it could be that they poured in slightly too much power at the factory.

Check the difference vs the main land, in particular QC. I know it's pretty bad around here for prices (NS). The difference vs NB is crazy.
