They're in Venice Beach, so I really hope that when the video starts coming through they have an MTV style setup where a bunch of clueless idiots in swimsuits are standing behind them screaming.

A shitty post? This calls for a dance of deduction.
CD Projekt is just "delaying" the stream a bit until more people log on.

The more people watching the stream = the more people to advertise to.

This is not so exciting. I'm gonna eat some lunch and hopefully come back and see something worth all this hype.

Question: do you think this method really creates more hype and whatever than just emailing all subscribers and gaming media outlets "hey we have LucasArts/EA games now" and letting the merit of that do its own work? Coz really.

I have a still image on the Stream. Is it like this for everyone or my stream is just not working?

The conference and announcement is all good, even if they hype it too much. The ARG thing they always do is too much.

//edit: and yes, terrible stream. I’m getting echoes (derp, had two windows open) and constant buffering.

It has to be. I'm actually surprised they haven't signed up earlier, since they aren't adverse to digital re-releases like, you know, EA are.

The CDP Summer Conference, where they are going to make this announcement, is held in Los Angeles.

The LucasArts Headquarters, as clear as I can figure from Google Earth, does not have any bars on premises, by the sea or otherwise.

Don't give a crap about Witcher 2 for GOG stuff. CD Projekt + GOG != Witcher 2.
But this is a general CD Projekt thing, and not just a GOG thing, right?
