That SMW demo is outrageous, and it makes me wish that I had more than just the WWF at my disposal when I was growing up. We didn't even get TBS! Also, it's a really simple line, but for whatever reason I really loved New Jack's, "I have a college education and a criminal record."

Rock was over, on a scale of one to a hundred, about one hundred and twenty. Hulk Hogan was jobbing his rear end off to everyone, and had been taking F5s from Lesnar and was starting to really feel it. And just before the tour of Australia he said "Brother, I can't handle this, I need a break." Australia was loving *pissed* about this, for some reason. (I dunno, we're backwards, I guess.) And that explains why there are so many front row Hulkamanic T-shirts, he was just really over. (?) Anyway, When Rock comes out the Melbourne crowd goes off its head completely. And they then put on a pretty standard 2002 WWE match. Ie: really awesome, great series of spots in which the crowd would normally go nuts and stay nuts. But for some reason Melbourne just goes dead quite until the end, and even then not like an American crowd. It's an odd match to watch, for sure, just to see what an odd reaction they get for a pretty drat good match.
