Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level is 21.0. Apparently, it's not just how big the words are, but how many of them there are per sentence.

It's a readability index, not an intelligence index - a high number doesn't mean the sentence is smart, it means it's hard to read. (Although, of course, complex thoughts do tend to result in higher indices.) It's funny because, to any extent that it can, that sort of proves her detractors' point.

The here, or a way to respond if it ever comes in a Fwd:FWD:Fwd: is to note that the person who wrote the Washington Times article scores a whopping 5.90 on the Flesch-Kinkaid Grade Level. Way below Obama. Proof that Palin supporters are all idiots? Some numbers just speak for themselves I guess. The same person can score all over the place from paragraph to paragraph and comparing emails to public speeches is misleading (context, speeches compressed for simplicity etc.)

Like, they're so desperate for a persecution complex that they're trying to take the Holocaust and make it about them.

Ok let's drop the "That many people didn't die in the holocaust!" thing. It's pretty clear to me that they were talking about all the the massacres under the Nazis and USSR. I'm not saying their numbers gel but it's pretty clear they weren't talking about only the holocaust.

Yeah, living in the south was eye opening in terms of how horrific the anti-Catholic bias can get, and how poorly educated most people are about the origins of their faiths. I've had discussions with people who were honestly perplexed as to why I might consider Catholics Christian. I try to explain those conversations in the midwest and everyone thinks I'm joking.

The first one isn't really misinformative, it's just ignorant. Gee, I wonder why the Communist Party USA would show up to a May Day demonstration? Friggin May Day! I did laugh when the writer went on to compare leftists in a May Day parade to Hitler. The "media would go nuts if fascists or neo-Nazis showed up at Tea Party event" doesn't really hold water. The media didn't go nuts when a Tea Party rally showed up at a Muslim charity fundraiser to spew hate speech, which is pretty goddamn fascist. I think only Taibbi has done the trouble of showing how the Tea Party leadership are the exact same people who endorsed David Duke and fought school integration, among other things.

A place of worship can only be built if its specific religion dominates the other, much like how it works in Black and White. So, you see, if Christians or people who aren't Christian but are willing to lie for Jesus say they're Christians they win and the Muslims lose. Alternatively, it's a bunch of crazy rear end bullshit from some one who hates Muslims. Like every other chain letter.
