Nah project nevada only adds a few new perks related to its new abilities, it's not a perk overhaul mod.

I passed up Fallout and went straight to 2 when I was younger, so I'll admit having a lot of nostalgia for that game. I decided to rectify this and bought Fallout 1 on gog recently and it's honestly not that amazing to go back and play now if you've never played it before. This is probably the opposite of how I would've felt if I had played it back when it first came out, but I didn't play planescape:torment until like 4 years ago and I still thought that was a lot better than Fallout 1 was. Fallout 2 improved on the formula a lot and I think people tend to oversell how good 1 really was just because it was so special for the time it was released.

Yeah I played Fallout 2 first and had a hell of a time getting into 1, but if youre brand new to the isometric Fallouts, its worth jumping into 1 first just so you know everything about the Master and Brotherhood of Steel and whatnot. And that way youre not polluted by 2s changes. Plus, Ian :swoon:

Yeah, this unfortunately. The resolution patch goes a long way to help but its still hard to sit down and play them again. Especially FO1, after all the upgrades that 2 made to the engine and UI.

Yeah it's a really great mod, simple and not overdone with rewards that make sense and it gives you a reason to go back to Primm every now and again. Plus it has voice acting for the male characters that's actually not bad for amateur work and the casino, once it is restored, is really well constructed as well.

Ling's Coiffure is pretty good for hair customization. Long styles will clip through your shoulders or back, but the styles are much, much better than the defaults.

I don't know if your question got answered, but the Project Nevada install I'm using hasn't even been officially released yet, and it requires Beta 2.x. You might want to give that version a try if you haven't already.

Most long styles in Ling's pack account for the clipping by scaling up a little bit, but then you have the problem that most hats will clip instead. Or, in many cases, the hats just make your hair vanish outright.

There's also a bunch of anime hair mixed in, but you should definitely find one better than the built-in mops.

I'm trying to get Imps TimeScale Adjuster to work but none of my changes seem to take effect. In fact changing timescale through the console doesn't seem to work either. I'm only using graphical mods, Project Nevada, Nevada Skies, Pipboy Readius and immersive HUD with primary needs, none of which seem to mess with timescales.

I agree- I think I remember this questline used to be in the OP but was taken out for whatever reason, but it's a really solid mod, I quite like it. The voice work that's there is better than most other quest mods, in my opinion.

I know I'm late as hell about this, but I just got around to doing "Tales from Burning Sands: Episode One". The ending to that was pretty :smith:

Anyway, between the two casino mods (Bison Steve Rebuilt and Run the Lucky 38) which is the better mod? I liked Lucky 38, but some of the upgrades didn't make sense, and the money safes seemed to cap out at 6,000 and 5,000 caps each, respectively. That particularly bothered me, since in my last save the casino was making, according to the mod, almost 23,000 caps per day.

Though on the upside, it was hilarious to walk up to random gamblers in the '38 and hear them gossip about it. "They say nobody's been inside that tower you can see lit up for miles!"

Speaking of, I'm on episode 2 of this and I'm currently looking for the monitor parts at the locations on the shipping manifest- I've looked at all three locations, some more extensively than others, and I can not find anything. I figured Primm would be the easiest, since it has that little community of various houses. I looked in all of the houses and found nothing, and there was only one wasn't being occupied at the time. It seemed like the best candidate since it had huge artwork on the wall, some other art assets that didn't look too familiar, a super tiny silverware cabinet in the kitchen which I know drat-well can't be from the vanilla game, and even a footlocker hidden underneath a bed, but no monitor part.

Can anyone who's played it tell me if I'm close at all, or if I just need to keep looking? It really feels like this one monitor part ought to be in the house that I'm talking about, so maybe the mod is glitching for me- I think it hosed with my waypoints anyway, they're no longer showing up on my compass after I installed it.

I remember finding something in a house in Primm early on in my game. There was a note off to one side in the house. Maybe that's what you're looking for?

I assume, in order to start Episode Two, I need to return to that terminal in Goodsprings? Nevermind, answered my own question by actually going back and looking.

I stand corrected. :)

So not everything in that pic is in The Armory (yet). Funny thing is that I'd say it doesn't matter because even with the insane number of guns in v2, everything in it is so polished (and you know how spergy I can get over the tiniest of details when it comes to mod guns).

There are really only two UI replacers/fixers, Darn has his, and theres MTUI, which is basically the same thing as Darns. Hey guys, have a question about The Armory. I love the collection (more guns means more fun in my book!), but I am spergy enough to be annoyed by the "incorrect" chamberings. Is there a way to get the weapons in v2 of the mod to use their proper calibers? I realise it will include plenty of editing and the CaliberX mod, but it really irks me when all the Russian AK variants eat 5mm.
