Whew! Nothing like leaving town on a family emergency for a week and coming back to 30 new podcast episodes! This'll take a while to get through.

If we're talking PFT characters I gotta go with John C. Reilly. It's just so goddamn perfect and I love John C. Reilly as it is, so

I'm not sure if he's even shown up on CBB, but I just love his John Lithgow, because it both encapsulates the public perception of him and is totally off-the-wall.

Ice-T is my favorite PFT character because I love his crazy business plans, especially Ice-T's Pyramid Scheme. So impractical!

Ever since the Rob Courdry, and Lake Bell episode Cake Boss became my absolute favorite character.

I love the Cake Boss's elaborate mythology, and I love how whenever someone says he was bitten by a radioactive cake bug, he always corrects them and tells them it was "just a regular cake bug."

I'm a big fan of the Ice-T, because he doesn't dominate the conversation and actually makes other characters better. Case in point - the 2009 Best Of. Ice-T as the Burns to Huell Howser's Gracie Allen.

PFT's Ice T seems like such a nice, sweet-natured, hapless fella. All of his characters are pretty great (well, maybe not Mr. Brainwash...), but Ice is the most likeable in my opinion. He seems like he'd hang out with Reggie Watts. Gonna try again for the Tompkins 300. Hope I do a lot better this time around.

One of my favorite Ice-T moments is when Scott asked him something about his jacket going well with his skin tone and he was like "Yeah, I'm not comfortable with that line of questioning."

The "Best of 2009" episode with Ice-T and Huell Howser (James Adomian) is still one of my favorite episodes. James Adomian's Huell is sort of hit or miss, but PFT brings the best out of him.

Jumping on the PFT Ice-T bandwagon. Simply brilliant, though it is interesting that he keeps the language clean. Real Ice-T seems like more of a cartoon these days, with his obsession of playing video games on his xbox all day.

His mannerisms, attitude and everything that comes out of his mouth just loving SCREAMS high school kid to me. I knew a guy in high school that matches up with Redban so precisely, I would swear it was him if Redban wasn't 10+ years too old(I'm guessing, I can't find his age.) Rogan's spot on when he calls him a manchild.

I've been binging through some of my WTF back catalog, and I think I'm really starting to like Marc Maron. His voice is a little grating, but he gets some loving excellent interviews out of people. I mean, his interview with Andy Dick make me like Andy Dick, even a little. That's really impressive. (Dick is still an extremely hosed up individual, but you can kinda tell where that comes from)

Honestly though, if you were just some random dude from Ohio, got paid for essentially doing a super EASY job, hanging with comedians, loving porn stars, being high constantly, and had no other responsibilities besides just loving around in L.A., it might stunt your maturity a bit. I don't know how Rogan puts up with him half the time. He can be pretty annoying. 14 year old kid is just about the perfect description. He basically fell rear end-backwards into a million-to-one job opportunity. Oh wait, am I talking about Redban or Jah? And yes, I am jealous.

Yeah that is one hosed up little dude. As far as WTF goes he is a fantastic interviewer when he isn't going off on his "How hosed up am I?" tangents with his guests. Check out the Judd Apatow and Louis C.K. ones, great poo poo. That and Ed Helms...that one is wonderful because well Banjo music!

This week's interview with Nick Thune is amazing, largely in spite of Marc. He comes at Nick with an almost unbearable amount of condescension, but gets him to open and speak really honestly and sincerely about his faith. Nick is completely astounded by what Marc gets out of him. For actually funny material, We Hate Movies basically lose their poo poo over Deep Impact in a way that made me embarrass myself while working in the library. Also, Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant are awesome on DLM.

And I thought this quote on his Wikipedia page was funny: Wikipedia posted:Aside from numerous stand up gigs, he has also landed small but memorable roles in movies such as Knocked Up and Unaccompanied Minors. Wasn't his role in Knocked Up basically an extra?
