http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QiArticle posted:In traditional Chinese culture, qi (also chi or ch'i) is an active principle forming part of any living thing. Qi is frequently translated as "energy flow", and is often compared to Western notions of energeia or élan vital (vitalism), as well as the yogic notion of prana and pranayama. The literal translation of "qi" is air, breath, or gas. Later on, in the same article posted:See Also:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conveyor_belt Popular culture Many video games feature conveyor belts, such as Donkey Kong (1981), Half-Life (1998) or Metal Gear Solid 2. The Gladiators 1990s TV series featured The Travelator, a moving walkway (a type of conveyor belt) in its obstacle course. A 2008 MythBusters episode "Airplane on a Conveyor Belt" featured a conveyor belt regarding the myth that a plane cannot take off while sitting on a conveyor belt moving in the opposite direction.

Coffee Quack posted:its funny because the people that dont understand why the plane will take off think the helicopter will too if you put wheels on the helicopter just like the plane, then the helicopter will take off just fine if it has a tail rotor if you don't have wheels on an airplane (ie it can't move backwards or forwards on the treadmill surface, only upwards or downwards) it won't take off on a treadmill, and instead immediately fall off the back of the treadmill
# ? Jun 29, 2011 09:44 |
maybe if the treadmill is a big loop the plane will go off the back them come around the front again sort of upsetting if you are in the plane when that happens
# ? Jun 29, 2011 09:46 |
actually I changed my mind, we said the plane could move up or downwards, in that case the plane would definitely fall off the treadmill when it is upside down and hit the ground unless the engines are strong enough to make it fly while upside down and falling flat downwards so perhaps some planes very few though

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Smash_Mouth#Eggsquote:Fun story: I did a Google search of "Smash Mouth eggs" and it seems to have been covered on quite a few different sites. You might be able to make a notability case if any of those sites are considered reliable sources. On the other hand, it appears to be just Steve Harwell who has been asked to eat the eggs, so it might belong exclusively on his own page and not this one. fun story bro
