Well it's true that the performance credentials of the current Durango are fairly modest. They need to drop the 6.4l/6spd powertrain from the challenger in to and make an SRT model.

Potentially dumb question: What's the advantage there? Why would a v8 engine of that displacement be advantageous over, say, 2 opposing cylinders totaling the same displacement?

He could still be significantly injured, you'd be impressed at what people will "walk off" before the adrenaline dump wears off, but it's a testament to the manufacturer's (Porsche? looks like a 911) safety that his brains aren't spread across a quarter mile of highway.

I cant imagine what it costs to insure one of the things.
