Part your kidney out. They don't need the whole thing in one go, they can take slices. You'll get a higher return. Then you can start buying slices to replace and flipping them for a profit.

I'm looking for something ~3k ish to regularly ride while slowly restoring to stock condition for fun. I was hoping to hold out and find an f4i, but used pricing boggles my mind here in Boston. This GSXR doesn't sound too molested. It's frustrating when every single SS on Craigslist is lowered, covered with stickers, 27 strobe lights, dumb chrome, toe2lly custom Jem and the Holograms purpley glittered grips sooooo sick gnarly stutah caged badass airbrushed flamin skullz "P.O." tipped it over lost my license machine.

I think you can hold out and get an F4i for 2900 easily. You'll be much happier with a FI bike I'd imagine.

It had an illinois plate (in texas), the title was in someone in illinois' name and was signed AND half filled out by someone ELSE in the "buyer" category. I called the kid on it and he claimed "his brother might have tried to sell it before.." but it'll be ok I can "just write overtop the information I've met a lot of awesome people when buying new vehicles / bikes but my god do the idiots stand out.

Well, I guess the DN-01 is officially dead as a Door Nail, the DeathkNell being a handful of Honda dealerships resorting to ebay to blow out the last of their inventories for 50% off MSRP. If the 16K price tag was all that was keeping you away, and not the whole auto trans and overweight thing, it might be worth a second look. Personally, I'm not married to shifting. Better than half the time, it's a PITA. I think bikes are most fun when you have them in a zone that requires nothing but throttle and mind control. I suppose it begs the question--they brought this to the US, and not the CB1100F? I could be wrong, but I doubt they'd have to slash the latter by 50% if all didn't go well. http://tinyurl.com/3hpywmy http://powersports.honda.com/street/crossover.aspx

Those bikes are as ugly and gutless as sin, but be damned if they don't work well. I still think the GL500/650 Silverwing is probably one of the best around city bikes. Decent mileage, easy to handle and lots of storage space with the hard luggage.
