I'm referring to Men In Black, how do you know they weren't referring to this object? It was a movie about extraterrestrial beings residing on Earth, and the words "great attractor" were referenced in a joke. Nonsense. Kay's line in MiB is obviously a humorous reference to the unsolved nature of the scientific phenomenon.
