The chorus (well the 'jump jump' hook) is basically Jump Around by House of Pain, I couldn't find any lyrics from the clip either but maybe it's an original for the game (about the only original assets by the look of things)

Looking to identify a song by a band that sounded like Interpol, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't. The chorus went like "Love goes through all things" or "Love goes through all of you" (or something) and there was a line as well about "morality and lust". I may have the lyrics wrong, though, because Google isn't turning up anything other than Christian music and death metal.

I have here on a mix a synthpop song with no information besides being 5:52 long. The vocals are heavily filtered like a lot of newer synthpop groups tend to do, but the first and third line go something like "Paint a picture/stick it in your book" and the chorus goes "This silver pass" or "This soon will pass" x8.

No luck so far googling lyrics OR using song identifying software. Hasn't stopped me from listening to it over and over though. :unsmith:

So i heard a haunting song on the radio a few days ago whilst I was in Wales. I think it was called St Peter, or some form of mythological person, and the DJ said it had been an unsigned album sent into the radio station.

It was really amazing, a little bit Fleetfoxes, and it was almost haunting. Im obviously finding it impossible to find and was just hoping against hope some one would know what im talking about.

EDIT: its played 51 minutes into this radio show:

HOW ABOUT I LASH YOUR SHIT

I'm trying to figure out the name of a piano piece I heard a few years back. It has a 'main' part that is at a fairly rapid pace at a low octave, and "feels" like it's rolling. This is counterpointed by a much slower set of firmer notes higher up. I want to say it's a 20th century composer, and that the title has something "moon" or "luna" in the title, and that the composer's name has a 'p' or a 'g' in it, and is fairly long. I keep wanting to say it's something by Debussy, but it's much faster than Clair de Lune, and feels more contemporary than that.

Edit: I'm doing some cross-digging between Wikipedia, Amazon, and Youtube. Erik Satie's 'Gymnopedies' have a similar feel to the piece I'm thinking of; they were orchestrated by Debussy, which may be why I keep thinking of him.

(I work in a library, and realize that this is the equivalent of when someone asks me for "That blue book with the guy, who says that thing, and then there's the girl who does the other thing. I think there was a dog, and it was brown". But sometimes I'm actually able to pull the title out of my rear end, and am hoping someone might be able to do the same with this.)

I am desperately searching for a track that falls into the "Ambient/Chillout" category.

I was SURE it was a Kid Koala track, or maybe CutChemist. but I can't for the life of me find it. I have been downloading endless songs from soulseek, and alas I am still at a loss.

The unfortunate part is I have VERY limited information on the track. All I remember is it starts with a sample of what sounds like an instructional relaxation/guided meditation thing. I think it even starts with a man saying something like "I would like to invite you .. " and I know for a fact that mid song he comes back in and says "If you start to loose focus, bring your attention back to your hand."

That all I have. Endless days of searching have yielded nothing. Please SA save me from my torment!

here are a couple examples of the "type" of music it is.

This might be a bit of a long shot, but it's been bugging me for ages and I'd love to know what it is:

It's a song which I heard repeatedly over Christmas 2008, due to it being piped music in the shop I worked in. It's slow-paced, has very sparse instrumentation and what I believe is a female vocalist (possibly Bjork?). There's a repetitive motif played on what is likely an electric piano that goes as follows:

E A B E
(pause)
E A G# E

Didn't manage to catch any lyrics. I've checked the majority of Bjork's discography but had no luck.

Was it something like Lykke Li (Tonight or Dance Dance Dance)? She's kind of Bjorky and that first track is a single released around that August and the second is from an album from earlier that year. May not be as slow or as electric piano-y as you describe though.

Thanks, but the song I'm looking for was much slower than either of those (roughly 48bpm, if you consider those notes I posted earlier as being quavers). I Just checked the rest of Youth Novels but sadly it's not any of the tracks on there. The piece was also more electric and ambient than either of those songs. I don't know if this is just my mind playing tricks on me but I recall that the electric piano was pretty much the only instrument, no percussion.
