Giger appearance on Superego seriously had me swerving in traffic, doubled over in hysterics: "No, not you, son. I mean the heliotropic body." Also Rev. Leroy Jenkins, whoever the weird 'dwarf-creature' who kept harassing him asking if he'd be his vessel had me howling, "I hung on to your oil pan."

Got my grandmother on board with Superego too, who usually doesn't do absurdist comedy much less podcasts, with the Battlestar Gallactica Centurions, since she's a huge BS:G fan.

Bert has the most amazing and random stories. In addition to The Epic Of The Machine, on his last Rogancast/Deathsquad appearance (both shows) he talked about how when he was in little league as a child he caught a ball with his mouth and It knocked out all of his front teeth. What used to be his grill was laying there on the field in a bloody mess. He was in clear need of medical attention yet still, his father wouldnt let him go to the hospital because the team needed him to finish out the game. He actually called his mother on the show to confirm the story and she was like "yeah, it was important you finish the game."

Theres also the hilarious story of how he was fired from Barnes & Noble told during his premier Rogancast appearance. I'm not sure how far back it was or if its easy to get old episodes so I'll tell it here real quick:

He worked at a B&N location that had a basement that they used for stock/storage. Burt decided he would spend any free time downstairs in the basement to get in some calisthenics. Push-ups, sit-ups, lifting boxes in lieu of free weights. Squats with a stack of Encyclopedia Britannica's. Serious man poo poo, son. You had to use the elevator to get around and it was one of those old school freight types that aren't operational if you leave the sliding gate ajar so with that in mind he would secure the door, strip down to his unmentionables as to not get his work sweaty, and get busy. It was actually a sweet plan to not only kill some time at work, but also hit the free gym you've cobbled together out of stuff thats already there.

There was just one major problem with his plan. The hidden camera's. The same hidden cameras his boss checked to see what Ber was up to when he noticed he was spending an unreasonable amount of time down in the basement.

Kreischer should definitely consider a weekly, or even bi-weekly or monthly, podcast, where he just rambles on with personal anecdotes in the same vein as Larry Millers show. Everyone of his stories has been a goldmine.

I finally finished listening to all of the Mike And Tom Eat Snacks episodes. I shouldn't really say "finally" because that makes it sound like a chore. I had been putting off listening to the last few because I didn't want it to be over. Now I have to wait for them to put out new ones :(

This has become my favorite podcast. Their banter is almost always amusing and I think they chose a great topic to build a podcast around. I also like the length which is shorter than most podcasts. It just feels right and I have a moment of disappointment when it's over rather than glancing at the time and wondering when the hell it's ever going to end.

I've listened through half of Sandra Bernhard episode and turned it off too. Too boring and sad.

Does anyone get the feeling that these dinosaurs are still hanging on to the glimmer of hope that a "TV show" is going to magically rescue their careers? When is someone going to break the news that there is no money left to go around. The era of billion-dollar sitcoms and variety show bonanzas is effectively over.

"Sandra Bernhard Show". That'll happen
