A5H posted:What's the R27 then? It's a limited edition model to celebrate Renault's F1 constructor's title (with the R27 chassis). Mechanically it's got the same engine, cup chassis (stiffer springs and more responsive dampers) and it has a limited slip diff. Also that stupid wing needs to go, I'm sorry

Those wheels are ridiculous and I love them for being so.

I'm convinced I live in some sort of bizzaro universe where Kia makes the best looking cars.

Does anyone else get an optical illusion feeling with those wheels, like they almost appear to be moving?

I like the truck but then again I'm the back water hick that's had more trucks winched out of under estimated cow ponds and mine canyons than I have fingers. I love all the turbo four pots I've owned over the years but I have this weird dream of owning absurdly expensive 4 wheel drive vehicles (2500, F250, X5, etc) and tearing the poo poo out of them in the woods.

The optima is a very good looking car, probably the best looking car in it's price range, but giving Schreyer all the credit isn't really fair. She's done and working!

Did you get the PDK or 6-speed? I drove a Cayman with PDK a few weeks back and it didnt feel that great, the shifts are quick but theres still quite a bit of delay between hitting the paddle and the gearbox actually engaging. Still, what a beautiful car. The 2nd gen 997's are just incredible.

It might not cost $100k but I am pretty pleased with it. 1986 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16 I already shifted into second when I really meant third, thanks a lot dogleg gearbox! Thankfully reverse is obvious enough that I don't think I will be pulling a James May anytime soon. It needs some minor cosmetic work (cracked dash, rear upholstery is splitting, hood emblem is not where it belongs) but otherwise it is in pretty great shape - cosmetically and mechanically. I'm now the cars third owner, the last guy disabled the leaking self leveling shocks at the back and put Bilsteins and custom springs at all four corners.
