Tom if you ever decide to release a big compendium book please let us know first because I can't afford Book 2 on Amazon and cursed if I'm going to be missing it.

I would pay crazy money for a giant, collected edition a la DC's Absolute Editions when everything is said and done :swoon:.

God Tom only knows when that will be, though.

This, a million times. Also, please get volume 2 back in print. Like a moron, I waited too long before ordering books, and my volume 1 and 3 have a distressing gap between them.

Wow, Jack is either playing with Annie or incredibly dumb. I guess we'll find out which!

The solution to the inevitable problem is obvious: he's going to have to pop ALL OF THE BUTTONS and seduce Zimmy and Gamma at the same time.

This is a very plausible thing.

The forbidden Level 5 Collar Pop will be necessary to woo Zimmy. However, this technique is locked away within an ancient, cursed tome buried deep within the Court catacombs.

This is Gunnerkrigg Court we are talking about here after all.

I do like how Annie, who is usually the one to speak up for Zimmy, is still floored by Jack's confession.

I did the same thing since a friend of mine recommended it to me last night (thanks Spec). I should have waited until my 4-day weekend ended, though, since it would have been a really good way to pass the slow periods at work :v:

This was really really interesting to read and I'm definitely hooked now on this like I am on Homestuck. It's like a mixture of Zork, Harry Potter, Scifi AND Steampunk all at the same time... or something. It's good!

Also: lil' crab dude owns, Mort owns, all the characters own

I do not see Rice Boy, Bad Machinery, Dr McNinja or Achewood in that list. It's therefore a terrible list and obviously not as good as my list, which is the greatest of lists of great things to read on the Interweb.

I dunno, he may be telling her something she needs to hear. Or he may just be loving with her. Too early to know one way or the other.

Incidentally, it may not happen this chapter, but I do hope we get more on the whole 'yeah, you're a phoenix, your mother died so you could live, and the same thing will happen when you have a kid'... thing, sooner rather than later. I mean, I trust the author to tell us the important stuff and to jerk us around on unimportant stuff; I'm just kinda impatient, y'know?

Coyote's cool, but he's an archetypal trickster. As far as I can tell there isn't too much else to him - which is great, I love trickster characters - but I find the characters with more unpredictable moral substance to them more interesting. And more relatable, I suppose.

I guess what I'm saying is that I could get my fill of coyote from real world folklore if I wanted to, but Mort and Jack are all Tom's. They're fun to get to know.
