The thing about that article is that if you take it without any prior knowledge and just look at the facts, he sort of has a point, much like how a valid argument could be made for promotion/relegation in US sports. Of course, once you look at things like tradition, history and the league pyramid it seems ridiculous. I just wish American sports writers would accept that football doesn't need fixing.

We don't and then everyone's happy! I love the tone in all of these sort of articles that Americans are doing the rest of the world a favour by attempting to get into football. (I just mean in these articles, not from fans on here before someone accuses me of taring all Americans with the same brush, much like it's only people who aren't fans who complain about the breaks in American Football and the like.)

I love football and my favourite teams are: Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Real Madrid. I've only liked football since last year after the World Cup but I watched every match because there were so many hot players lol but now I just love it so much. My favourite players are Esteban Granero, Bojan Krkic and Thiago Alcantara.
