No, but you don't understand. That's just how an EXTREME FAN acts. The very fact he doesn't understand what he did wrong by showing up at the hospital tells us all we need to know about Bobo.

How about on TWUS when he was talking about how he knew where Howard was during the birth of his daughter. "I don't want to say where I live but it's on the North Shore which is how I knew."

I don't even know where to begin with this statement. Bobo thinks only he is deserving of privacy, eh?

That was a great podcast, but Artie came up short I think. He tells the Scrabble story far better on another podcast he appeared on a couple of months ago. I don't have a link, but if you look up "Fixing Joe Artie Lange" it should come up.

Gloria Estefan today? I missed the intro this morning and picked up maybe 10 or 15 minutes into the interview. I was racking my brain trying to think of another musician named Gloria who was Cuban and lived in Miami who might be slightly more current, but no, Miami Sound Machine it is.

An appearance on the Stern show now might just cement you as a "has been"

I realize theres a lot of exemptions to this. Lady Gaga, Whitney Cummings, Seth Rogen and Gerard Butler all come to mind. But Leslie West, Tony Bennett and Gloria Estefan are all decent counter arguments.

Pretty sure this is a kind of defense mechanism to avoid embarrassment, much like a very ugly man/woman saying they "just don't date." Gary knows he's going to get shot down by most PR types due to Howard's reputation. The free-FM audience was a nice trump card, but on satellite, I honestly feel like most of the A-list guests are there because they're either A). huge fans of the show (Jonah Hill, Rogen, Bradley Cooper) or B). their PR person has no idea they can turn the show down without any repercussions.

I would honestly prefer the show just stick to the in-house bullshitting rather than book someone so loving far off the relevance reservation. Gloria Estefan is just a ridiculous booking.

If Artie and Nick are allowed to be edgy I might end up listening to their show more than Stern at this point.

Of course it will last a year before being renamed the Nick DiPaolo Show after Artie relapses and tries to hang himself only to have the rope break under the strain right as his mother and sister walk in to deliver his chicken parm.

I actually think these guys and girls accept now because Stern is so tame. He's a suckup pushover now and any remotely competent celeb would be easily capable of pushing him around in an interview. His rare good interviews happen because those guys let it happen, not because he really digs into them until they break like he used to do years back. They can go in, talk, deflect or answer the 1-2 sex questions and then bullshit their way through the rest of the time.

That's fine with me, and I'm not a sports fan and I would listen to this show.

if they had guests on, like random comedians (please have on Louis CK) and whatnot, this show could arguably trump the Stern show.

I mean think about all the times that when Artie was out and would come back on when he was "sick" that callers would call in and say the show was not as nearly good when he wasn't on it.

Oh man I bet that stuck in Howards craw.

I am really excited to hear Artie again, he was the best part of the show and what got me listening to Howard after I'd grown tired of him. I used to listen back in the channel 9 days and watch his show on TV and listen to his radio show, but then I stopped and forgot about the show until Artie was on, so Artie is a big part of the show for me and the reason why I picked it back up.

I enjoy the show now of course, I listen to it a lot when I get the chance at work, but Artie on his own... I dunno, I think he needs them as much as we need him and if he just talks about sports, he might be serious talking too much to have fun.
