That is incredibly interesting.Do VWs really clang when you adjust the steering column though? I don't recall my '03 GTI doing that.

Exactly how often do you change the steering column's length/angle anyway? It's just not cost-efficient to put much expense and effort into improving that particular process.

If you design the mechanism once, you could presumably persist it in perpetuity - it's not like VW is a bespoke manufacturer that handbuilds a few Golfs a year.

Yeah, that dude was driving sloppy as gently caress too, all over the goddamn place. The black #73 he was chasing had a fantastic line and I'd bet would have won had it not had what looks like mechanical issues and pulled off towards the end of the video.

Midgets are one thing, but full Sprint cars without wings? That's just plain nuts, especially when it was proven a couple of lives would have been saved by the defence a wing gives when a Sprint Car hits something very hard on it's roof and wings basically became mandatory here. Those cars are seriously fuckoff fast I really find it hard to believe the USA of all places it's not mandated.

Plus they do look a hell of a lot more like they mean business.

We race basically anything here. Wingless sprints are kind of popular, but they are usually 305 or 360's. There are some wingless 410's, though.
