Exactly how often do you change the steering column's length/angle anyway? It's just not cost-efficient to put much expense and effort into improving that particular process.

That's just plain nuts, especially when it was proven a couple of lives would have been saved by the defence a wing gives when a Sprint Car hits something very hard on it's roof and wings basically became mandatory here. Those cars are seriously fuckoff fast I really find it hard to believe the USA of all places it's not mandated. Plus they do look a hell of a lot more like they mean business.

Wingless sprints are kind of popular, but they are usually 305 or 360's.
