Whoa... Beth isn't really my type, as I like tits and rear end, but holy poo poo does she look hot in that pic. Howard really managed to capture her beauty.

I've only been listening in the car to and from work, but I've really been enjoying this "Robin's News" special. For most of the show's history, the news was always my favorite part, and yet it tends to get very little replay in Best Of. The bit with Billy playing Red Fox commenting on the breaking OJ Simpson case was amazing! I haven't heard that since it initially aired 17 years ago.

Also, some good Artie moments, too!

Sadly, it makes me realize how little the show makes me laugh these days... :(

Poor Tony Bruno, the most fired man in sports radio after Ferrall. I dug the show, particularly that they didn't get bogged down with lovely callers. Three callers all night, and one unresponded-to Crazy Alice reference.

Yeah I liked him too, he had a sports show that was not a sports show. That is what I hope the Nick and Artie show will be. And Tony still has show(s) but I will miss him.

I just had a flashback to all the times Bubba posted nearly naked photos of his wife to millions of slavering fans on Twitter. Wonder if Howard's marriage will end up the same way...

I was listening to the Sal and Beth fiasco after the roast where he called her horse face, and I do think Beth is a very nice person. I think she is probably very normal too, which makes me wonder how she sticks with Howard who is old enough to be her father and a major weirdo.

Beth had to be nice to a weird guy before meeting Howard to get her lovely computer working and fixed in her dumpy little apartment. Not saying that is all of it, but come on, she landed a job as Princess and surrounds herself with animals all day.

I think it's a combo of him getting more and more into Hampton's Howie and either relaxing from his younger years or hiding whatever perversions he has away from her and the fact that she knows she married Howard Stern and that he's a little off but she still loves him anyway.

Howard always says he's a very boring guy at home and I'd absolutely buy it. I think he goes home, watches a lot of TV and doesn't do much else and if he does Beth either isn't around for it or he hides it from her.

I think Beth originally cared about Howard. He's very charismatic, and they went out and dated and had fun and now that she's married, she is bored off her rear end. That's why she is out doing model shoots all the time which she only got now that she's with him. I think her intentions were good at first but now she's stuck... and her baby clock is definitely ticking.

I went back and listened to the Horse Face comment as I wasnt a subscriber around the time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIrG0El50zc for anyone interested)

I think this was blown way out of proportion by Beth and or Howard. I get that its not cool to crack on someone who isn't there and isn't a part of the show, but in the context of a roast, I dont think there should've been 2 years of fallout from this one.

The youtube clip has the horse face joke immeaditely following a joke about a gay man who died from AIDS. I know cracks were made towards Mr. X. when he was in the picture and I'm fairly certain jokes around Dana or Christine Governale have been made during a roast. Saying "No holds barred...except for my beautiful wife" is a pansy thing to do, and I dont think it would've flown with the Howard Stern I started listening to in the mid 90s.

It was uncalled for and hardly funny in the first place, but 2 years of being butthurt over it is hosed up.

Howard is the first to rip into people's personal lives. Remember when he made Fred's wife make out with her acting partner in a play just to enrage Fred?

Especially since in that roast, Artie called Sal's wife a oval office and said that his kids were gay and had AIDS.

Jackie seems like a lecherous human and he's a pretty hacky comedian, but god drat if his laugh isn't the most contagious thing ever. Whenever he genuinely busted up over something, I can't help but laugh. (That, and when they kept playing his laugh over inappropriate news.)

sidenote:
This "And That's What's Happening" special is actually pretty entertaining, because the "news" is when the in-studio crew gets to freestyle riff the most. (It also shows just how worthless Robin is in the studio.)
