Ok, I remember seeing a movie-trailer of something ago where the plot went something like this:

Somebody runs over and kills a kid by accident but never gets caught.
Then years later they have family (I think?) and is scared of this secret coming out.

That really is all the description i can give, and i know it is a very weak description but the only things I can remember for certain is that there is a kid killed in a car accident (perhaps caused by drunk-driving?) and that the movie is fairly new (Atleast made in the last 5 years.)

Jim's now a Blind Cave Salamander!

I've been trying to remember this for a long time, so if anyone manages I'll be quite pleased:

I remember a collection of Dr. Seuss shorts. Together, the overarching story was that of a baby deciding who he wanted to be sent to earth and become. The narrator discusses the options, which included (what I seem to remember) the Sneetches, the Butter Battle, and some other animated Dr. Seuss shorts, until the child finally settles on the complexity of a human. I've checked the IMDB page on Seuss, I've googled the crap out of those shorts, but I can't figure out what the collection is called.

I've got two really vague ones from my childhood, probably the late 80's:

1. An animated Noah's Ark story. Pretty sure it involved some of the mythical creatures like dragons being on the ark along with the animals.

2. A fisherman in his cabin being terrorized by a giant tentacle. This one might be a short from some Jim Henson anthology series?

A trilogy of animated movies from the '70s. Noah's Animals, King of the Beasts, and Last of the Red-Hot Dragons.

I don't think this is it, I remember it being darker and possibly centering around a small creature who could move through the levels of the ark.

Im not sure if its a movie, it might be a TV show, but there is a situation where a woman borrows a dress from her friend and somehow gets semen on it and has to have it cleaned but the dry cleaners cant get it out. Or something like that. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Alright, this has been driving me insane for days, every few weeks or so. I'm determined to find this movie that I watched back in 2008 on Netflix's original Instant Streaming to your computer. I feel like the movie itself came out in 2006 for some reason, or right around then.

Extremely low budget, and the entire movie is filmed with a single video camera that one of the two 'actors' is holding the entire time. So it begins with a typical runaway early teens girl who got into some argument with her mother, and runs out onto the streets at night, where she's semi-coerced (? Maybe? Maybe it was willingly, I can't remember) into taking a ride from a videocamera-toting-guy whose older than her (I'd have to say early 20's). He suggests they go hangout back at his hotel, and the whole movie consists of just the two of them having a really (long... I mean REALLY LONG) drawn out, awkward, uncomfortable conversation sitting in this hotel room. All while the guy holds the camera and videotapes the girl and their conversations the whole way through. (not a porn, but might as well be with all of the sexual tension) Pretty sure there was no actual NC17 type stuff going on, but the guy is trying to get in her pants the whole time.

It's a REALLY bad movie, lol.. but I've been trying to find it for a while now just to show off how horrible it was! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I don't know the movie personally, but if you still have your netflix account you could look at your instant watch history that goes back to the very, very beginning.

Unfortunately it's been so long that I no longer have that information. (Plus the account was through an ex's email/billing so there's no accessing that) I also remember trying to do this maybe a year after I had seen the movie, and the history was either erased or unavailable even back then. :sigh: Thank you though, for the idea!

I've been thinking of this scene for the past few days, and I can't remember what it's from. It must be from something I've seen in the past 6 months, but might not be a new movie. I just remember the opening scene has a parade of soldiers marching along the bottom of the screen, with a commander/general on a short dais watching them go by. This continues as the credits go by, and then as the credits end, one of the soldiers steps out of line as he's marching, draws his gun, and shoots the officer that's been watching in the head.

Nothing in my Netflix queue shows up as being this, so it might have even been a movie in the theatre, but it's so frustrating to remember only this scene and not the context.

It's a long story
This one was an animated movie. I think it was a Japanese anime, but I saw it on TV in Canada in English. It was about a city that had all these giant robots for various tasks, but they were randomly going crazy. The main characters were cops trying to figure out why. The one other detail I remember was that the police giant robots used giant revolvers. I'm pretty sure there was a scene where a cop empties her gun and has to get out of her robot and physically load in more giant bullets by hand.

I remember almost nothing except this one scene, and even then it's a pretty hazy memory.

Some kids are walking through the woods at night and they come upon an idling car. A man gets out of the car and drags? one of the kids in with him, the other kid flees. A hose is flooding the exhaust into the car and they both die? The guy dies and the kid gets away? I don't remember!

This has happened in many movies and sitcoms, but the first one that springs to mind is a scene from Fresh Prince of Bel Air where Will Smith burns the kitchen down trying to make a flambe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBvkxamFizY
