This is a fantastical re-imagining of the build-up to the release of the film and the controversy it caused. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0162zbx/Holy_Flying_Circus/ Absolutely hilarious documentary, commentary and tribute to Life of Brian.

A BLOODY BUSINESS An explosive expose on the cruelty inflicted on Australian cattle exported to the slaughterhouses of Indonesia. http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/special_eds/20110530/cattle/ Video is to the left. Seriously though, I have to warn you there isn't a NMS big enough, it shows graphic footage of what can only be described as animal torture. If you can bear with it though its a powerful story about the meat industry in the developing world. It certainly fits the expose requirement as live export to Indonesia was banned after this program aired on Australian national television.

Columbine Documentary with newly released audio Neil Mcroy was able to secure the previously unreleased Columbine audio and video footage over 12 years after the attacks at Columbine High School in 1999. Immediately following the tragedy, Jefferson County secured and refused to release additional videos and audio relating to the attacks for a period of 11 years. The basement tapes were also secured by Jefferson County but the release date is not until 2023. This is the introduction to his new documentary series with never before seen audio and video of the Columbine school shooting. Currently only the introduction is available online and the rest is (I believe) being released episodically on Neil's website. Definitely chilling, with enough "normal" teenager moments during the height of the massacre to make it quite disturbing. Watch at your own risk. http://vimeo.com/22378082

I was in high school when Columbine went down and it's possible I didn't really read up on it or pay much attention other than to know it was a tragedy, many died, many injured. Of course Dylan and the other one were bullied and made to feel like Others, and nobody's parents saw anything coming. Okay. So I wasn't a huge oval office, I wasn't saying at any point that everyone deserved to be shot because these poor boys had their feelings hurt, nor was I thinking these two boys were completely with it and totally normal with no reasons to be upset at anyone for anything. But I was feeling...maybe a little cold about it. I don't think I was really touched by the Columbine shootings in a way that made me feel much of anything. The way I felt was that these two kids were bullied and were most certainly awful people, but they were lashing out after torment and wanted revenge. It's sad and upsetting but I guess I thought I could see why they did it. Now not even two full minutes into watching this, it's hearing (whoever was speaking,) "Die, bitch," that made me...not fearful, but certainly chilled at what an awful loving breakdown that whole disaster was. I guess before I thought of course it's awful, but they were bullied and some people just snap. That happens. Now, my hair stands on end and I wonder what was wrong with me. How strange just those two words could change my whole view.

Does anyone realize that the audio is fake on this? It's called Documonius X and it's a parody of Demonius X on youtube. It's just clips of him talking about unrelated things. The voice matches up completely. Sorry, not trying to be all internet detective but it's clearly a joke. A really unfunny one at that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYMOhn0yldc To contribute, I've been enjoying the documentary Tv series 30 Days, it's with Morgan Spurlock who made Supersize Me. It has a person (sometimes Morgan) living a certain way for 30 days. Most notably him and his girlfriend live on minimum wage for 30 days, live on an Indian reservation, and work in a coal mine.

The film follows 31-year-old Dunn, a Canadian anthropologist, who has been a heavy metal fan since the age of 12. Dunn sets out across the world to uncover the various opinions on heavy metal music, including its origins, culture, controversy, and the reasons it is loved by so many people. - Wikipedia I watched this in my Anthropology class and MAN is it ever good. If you've ever wanted a quirky study with good music, this is it! He interviews a lot of famous musicians as well, like Alice Cooper, Geddy Lee, etc.
