Ghetto Blaster posted:Being European i have almost no knowledge of Howard Stern, where is the best place for me to start listening? There are places to get pretty much every recorded show, but unless you're looking for something very specific, that's a bad starting point. Just start browsing Youtube for best-of clips or interviews with people you like to get acquainted. If he's not on vacation, the live show is Monday-Wednesday 6AM EastUS (10am GMT-0). Try searching for Shoutcast streams to listen in, as I'm pretty sure Sirius is still the Americas only.

I guess he is, host of Fear Factor and that one dude from newsradio. FBI watch list? Because he's politically subversive or because of all the psychedelic drug discussion? Sorry for being way off topic, just genuinely curious.

For you Artie fans, Jim Norton announced a new Antisocial Comedy tour yesterday on O&A. The 2011 tour had Dave Attell, Jim Breuer, and Bill Burr, hosted by Jim Norton. Breuer is out this time because he's touring with a show focusing on his father, and Burr is out this time because he has prior commitments. The 2012 lineup will be Artie Lange, Dave Attell, and Doug Stanhope, hosted by Jim Norton kicking off Saturday, January 14 at the Borgata in AC. I love going to see the new horror movies by that's where I draw the line. I lost interest in dressing up and Halloween parties after college. I guess I got all that crap out of my system in college because we partied so much.

drat, Robin got big. She's also had that kind of thin face / thin neck / fat body thing though. We don't really see her full body so it's easy to see her face and assume since it's thin, the rest must follow suit.

Richard's 'obsession' with Halloween is a fun thing that he likes to think about and it brings a smile to his face, kind of like your racism and homophobia.

Howard actually read an email bashing Bobo the other day. I was shocked when he actually read the part that said (paraphrased) "Bobo is an idiot, he only calls with complements and bullshit that he knows will get him on the air." I thought to myself "Wow, did the 4th wall just break?" No sooner did the thought complete than Howard answers "The fact of the matter is...Bobo tells it like it is. And I'm gonna keep taking his calls." I'd love to join the droves of people in this thread that cancel, but my local radio is way too lovely for me to fathom the thought. The 15/month is my absolute pricepoint though. The second they try and raise Sirus Canada above that, I'm back to podcasts and burned CDs.

Is he loving kidding? Honestly guys (and Kelly), I've been re-listening to when they first got on Sirius and am at the middle of August 07, and with Artie and all that I have never laughed so hard, it's great. I'll still listen to the new poo poo but goddamn was the show good then. Can't wait to start on 08's shows. Artie's throwaway lines and personal anecdotes were to the comedy of the show that Fred's sound effects are to the soundtrack of the show.

The Nick and Artie show has me constantly swaying between annoyance at Nick's obnoxious politics and laughing at Artie's lines. I don't care that the guy is a republican, but the way he crowbars his dumb opinions in every minute is getting to me. You wouldn't know that Nick is a comedian if he didn't mention it from the way that Artie steals the show.

It seems like no matter how I get my Artie, there has to be a compromise of something that annoys me. It's like a dose of DePace every few minutes in between the funny. They do work well together though.
