So as long as you have a 300-ton 'Mech or 150-ton 'Mech with triple strength myomer, you can lift an Urbanmech. Saving Janos Marik: Tactical Update 1 Combat Phase The blocky form of an Awesome rose menacingly from the sea. Water poured from its vast shoulders, dripping from the seaweed that still clung to its boxy arms. A single frond stuck fast to Rebecca Cage’s cockpit glass. It’d dry and fall, or be incinerated the first time she fired her PPCs. She ignored it, it wasn’t really in her way. She whistled, just loudly enough for the sound to carry over her microphone. “The Cappies have sure done a number on the docks.” “We’re not clear of the water yet,” Captain Masters replied. “Just some damage to the warehouse—and they’ve stacked all the cargo containers next to the Janos Marik. Bizarre.” Joshua Davion laughed, “… You know how the Cappies love their make-work, Sergeant. So let’s give them something to do.” Mission Objectives Destroy All Enemy Forces (0/8) OR Destroy the Janos Marik (0/1) Secondary Objective Don’t Destroy the Janos Marik (1/1) Enemy Movement Modifiers: RVN-1X Raven Held Position (+0) UM-R60G Urbanmech Held Position (+0) UM-R60G Urbanmech Held Position (+0) BMB-10D Bombardier Held Position (+0) MON-67 Mongoose Held Position (+0) UM-R60 Urbanmech Held Position (+0) HER-1A Hermes Held Position (+0) WTH-1 Whitworth Held Position (+0) AWS-8Q Awesome Weight: 80 tons (Assault) HD A(S): 9/9 (3/3) LT A(S): 24/24 (17/17) LT R A(S): 10/10 CT A(S): 30/30 (25/25) CT R A(S): 19/19 RT A(S): 24/24 (17/17) RT R A(S): 10/10 LA A(S): 24/24 (13/13) RA A(S): 24/24 (13/13) LL A(S): 33/33 (17/17) RL A(S): 33/33 (17/17) Heat: 0/30 Overheat Penalty: None Heat Sinks: 28 Movement: 3/5/0 Mechwarrior: Pilot 3, Gunnery 2 Mechwarrior Name: Sergeant Major Rebecca Cage Mechwarrior Player: Canopus250 Mechwarrior Status: OK! Huh, so it looks like the Raven is the mech you guys will be running into first. Let's see how it does against you guys. Also, those G Urbies are indeed packing just a Gauss and a Small Laser. With their anemic speed, they won't be contributing to this battle for a while, I guess. And PTN, I think you messed up on the Player Status block. You have Paul Masters as a Major, when your fluff is calling him a Captain. Unless he got a sudden battlefield promotion, I think something messed up there.

The question is whether the Raven mixes it up or tries to flee. I suggest we move to the left instead of straight down. He can't jump the water so he has to run through the choke point to get away, which means we can cut him off easy.

The positioning is really advantageous to the players. The Capellans are spread out and it won't be hard to bottleneck them. The only jumper they have that can make it over that cavernous 3 hex water is the Whitworth.
