On the topic of AmDrag, where does the "Lloyd Boner" name come from? And did "Bazooka Kaboom" originate on WH2K or elsewhere?

Bazooka Kaboom originated here, as a joke after numerous other terrible FCW names were announced at the time of his signing, such as Sweet Papi Sanchez. It made its way onto Wikipedia and lasted there for ages until he appeared on NXT as Daniel Bryan.

Lloyd Boner, I believe, came from an interview he did where he said if he wound up in TNA, he would use that as a name, or they would assign it to him or something.

When WH2K was at the height of "THOSE AREN'T REAL NAMES" FishBulb said they would name him Bazooka Kaboom and it picked up steam within the forum. Side note: people then said Daniel Bryan wasn't a "real name." This is a stupid criticism unlike "why would they change the name of one of the most recognizable indie wrestlers in the world", which is a smart criticism.

Also, is it okay to say "boner" in Chikara?

The worst TNA offenders at least in recent memory would be Desmond Wolfe, Austin Starr and Senshi. And those are not terrible names. I honestly prefer Desmond Wolfe to Nigel McGuinness.

The thing that gets me is Russo telling Nigel that Desmond Wolfe was apparently a really common British name, when I've never met a Desmond in my life, let alone with Wolfe as a surname. Makes me think that they came up to him with a choice of three names and the other two options were 'Monty Python' and 'The Queen'.

The only Desmond that comes to mind is Desmond Child. As for Wolf, I actually grew up knowing two men named Wolf as their first name and both were originally from England.

I'm guessing it's a common name in the same way that,"Farqhuar Chesterton" and "Trevor Smythe-Baxley" are. Basically, Russo thought it "sounded" British. I'm delighted at the concept of a guy from Brooklyn telling a guy from London what common British names are.

Also if we're going to fantasy book DB I'd want him to lose at Mania, lose his cash-in again next year at Mania against post-match Undertaker, then win RR 2014 and finally winning the WWE title in a triple threat match against Cena and Orton at WMXXX. Then Mexico Champion Sin Cara comes out and they hug as confetti fills the ring.

Exactly. Nobody ever spraypainted WCW on the belt because that was an nWo thing and it was supposed to show how disrespectful that "gang of thugs" was.

Doing an nWo storyline would have been limited so THQ was pretty smart in doing a WCW invasion and using elements of the nWo with it. It all comes with the package.
