I wonder if we can pay Donald Gibb to follow these people around, and basically shame them into submission.

What the fantroll creators don't understand is that the entire symbol library that young trolls picked from as wigglers carried over in our universe's collective unconscious, but in a cruel twist, similar to how we devised playing cards and have a blatant disregard for modesty concerning buckets, the symbols were reduced to being a ubiquitous computer typeface that no one really uses all that often.

Of course, the lovely stories and details people write about their fan trolls are not canon They all are just, you know, there. Existing in Alternia, or possibly a part of Her Condensce's invasion fleet. And now they are all dead.

Wow. Just read an entire blog about somebody reading the entirety of Homestuck over the course of 2 months or so. They started out basically roasting it. And then changed their mind once the story got underway. It's a hilarious read, but it's also kind of nostalgic. I can remember going through a lot of this stuff. Lupus Rufus posted:When Karkat created the trolls and their ancestors ectobiologically, and they were sent through the defense portals, they were sent both to their own universe and the pre-scratch universe. Likewise, it's implied that the same thing happened with John and co., except everyone was sent from the pre-scratch universe's incipisphere. Why does a glitch have to make sense? I really can't get over people trying to rationalise the origin of the pre-scratch trolls when it makes much more narrative sense for them to simply not have one, the message being OH poo poo YALL CAUSALITY IS SERIOUSLY loving BROKEN KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS ITS LORD MOTHERFUCKING ENGLISH IS WHAT. Plus as far as I remember the only thing that suggests they came from anywhere at all is "this session was not the one in which they had been spawned" which could just as easily mean they found their way into the wrong session, or were spawned in a different troll session from the same period, or didn't come from anywhere at all. But yeah, while you can [kinda sorta] explain it away with shenanigans, it has a lot more impact if you leave it completely incongruous. I don't think it's really that complicated here? When the meteors leave the defense portals in the Incipisphere (whether they are coming from the pre-Scratch Incipisphere or post-Scratch doesn't matter), the game seemingly makes two copies of the meteor, one sent to the pre-Scratch universe and one sent to the post-Scratch universe. This seems hinted at pretty deliberately with the conspicuous presence of all the meteor baby artifacts in the start of Act 6. Up until now we weren't given any clues as to the specifics of how baby spawning happened in two universes. Of course, this all makes me wonder if the Sufferer truly "remembered" anything from his past life. If post-Scratch John is even a character, I doubt he'd "remember" a drat thing about becoming a god. Characters seeing visions of other locations in spacetime has been a thing happening in this story since drat near its inception, though, and there's numerous ways for this to happen. So mystery solved I guess?
