Ryan Hunter just destroyed FlashMetroid with Nick's Turnabout mode. Fingered two characters and hit full health Dormammu with one finger and X-factored level two into his level 3 to kill him. e; Apparently Option Select is running a tournament, you need at least 2 new characters.

The most I can do meterless with firebrand atm is 370k  He has a cool aerial trick he can use to keep a combo going though: Dive kick, demon elevator L/whiff S. Basically it gives him a ground bounce he can combo after. It's easier to pick them up with demon elevator L but S also drops him to the ground. It basically makes cHS sjMMH qcf standing s sjmmh d.h qcb l s sjmmhs possible and it looks cool.

Yeah, I mean PW gets some pretty heavy gently caress You Normals, but his mobility is just slightly better than Hulk's so I don't really see him opening up a lot of people unless there's some secret crazy poo poo that's out there despite there being no reason to believe there is. If he could call Maya in turnabout mode that might be something, but even that would be telegraphed to all hell and I don't think he can anyway. What makes Dark Phoenix so broken is that Phoenix would be an excellent character even without any weird gimmicks.

What kind of speed boost does Strider gain from level 3 x-factor? I have a feeling he'll still be good as an anchor just because he'll be practically untouchable in the hands of someone who knows what he's doing. Sort of like a slightly toned down version of Dark Phoenix without all the having to save meter stuff.

Oh my god it's so good. Online is still lovely at times, but I'm feeling like that's more a problem with the players then the netcode. So many new teams, I'm not sure who I like best. I also may have stumbled onto an infinite with Rocky, will try to replicate it and post results.

I wanna say that my recollection of his health in marvel 2 was that only Sentinel could take him out in a single character BnB besides Cable loops, while Magneto and Storm required resets/additional combos. Less resets than standard health, but still. What I mean to say is damage is high as gently caress in 3, and that means more if your health is less a.k.a. don't put strider on point? but i ain't good and i don't have the game so

No, 650k is about the optimum for him with one meter no assists  Unless you count sentinel specific combos lol. Start with Jumping H into MH for better damage scaling I think but 650-730kish is basically his upper limit solo unless new tech is found/demonstrated. Maybe this is a facet of the game I missed from vanilla, but it seems like almost all the new characters I've seen, their j.S at the end of a super jump/air combo will cause a ground bounce, and they can pick the other guy back up for another air combo. I know Frank and Firebrand can do this, and I feel like almost all of the new characters I've seen can do this. Is this more prevalent in Ultimate now? Or am I crazy?
