What happens when the card explodes into grist is great.

And nowhere does it say it's a 1/1 ratio or anything, just that to convert that particular item cost 10 boondollars.

Read better!

But didn't the kids make that punchcard machine with the lathe thing? Once they made items they took the cards and stuck them in a machine to get hole patterns so that they could also input codes for items too (John and Terezi and the jetboots come to mind)

Those gristbits have odd values that make me uncomfortable.

Not if the small ones equal 10 and the slightly larger ones equal 20. Of course, all that means then is that that hat had 90 grist in it. But it also might have actually had 100 grist, but when 10 boonbucks were introduced into it, it exploded out the actual grist. Boonbucks could be the Negaduck to the grists Darkwing Duck.

There's a pretty good chance UU is from the sequel session to this one, ie the victory session. Their username implies it pretty heavily, since it implicitly means "Hidden from the light of the Green Sun" given how uranium has used thus far in the game.

Which would mean UU is a descendant from one of our already known trolls if that's the case!

There's absolutely 0 evidence that indicates that the kids scratching their session scratched the trolls' session again.

The Trolls' session was already scratched once. Scratching it again would prevent Doc Scratch from existing and therefore prevent the Kids from Scratching so

That is possible! But I can't help but note the parallelism between UU and Karkat.

Karkat bothers them to tell them how much they've hosed it all up.

UU pops in to say today is the day you make it all go right.

Hussie loves his parallelism. I could see it going either way.

The whole reason for the scratch was the trolls messing up their frog cloning. If the troll session/universe is unaffected, then B. Slick still has cancer.

The other possibility we may not be considering is that UU is lying.

I mean, "she" claims to be just starting her session, but she knows a bunch of "spoilers", and appears to be typing from an Exile station, which makes no sense for a current game player.

I think this makes UU being from the 'sequel session' even more likely, since it makes her an inversion of Karkat more fully- someone from the session after theirs being happy and encouraging and not interfering in a significant manner? Backwards Karkat in almost every way.

Edit: this is working from the assumption that UU is being truthful so far which may not be the case at all, hard to tell for the time being

She presumably knows 'spoilers' because she has full access to the kids' timeline, much like the trolls we know did in the previous session.

The reason for the scratch was because the kids couldn't win and they needed a safe place to escape to that Bec Noir could not reach. Remember the cancer reveal was pretty late in the story, well after the plans for the scratch started, and ultimately even Karkat concluded that rather than a "disease" it was an imperfection in the frog that was personified by the actions of Jack Noir. The kids presumably will be able to easily prevent a second occurrence of his power grab, and thus be able to safely finish the whole game. Even without the cancer, there's a good chance the universe is still going to die 413 years afterwards from Noir's Red Miles, so they still need to escape again. But this time they should have everything under control.

Clearly the Troll Empress has hold of the Matriorb, which she uses to produce an infinite amount of Troll grubs, for use in the manufacture of Gushers.

The assumption here is that UU and troll behind the Exile station console are the same. Hint: Typing at the Exile station console manifests as thoughts inside the player they are being communicated with, not as a log. There never was an explicit chatlog with an Exile.

I think UU is from a new Session altogether. More over, she is from the Session Jade created. Also, I am sticking to my "Game is optimizing itself" theory and posit that there is one more human boy, playing together with UU and they are both 14.
