I'd already looked there, and Yellow/Blue/Violet UHF/VHF codes don't seem to translate well to the antennas you'll find at Best Buy (or anywhere other local stores, or at least stores within reasonable driving distance, Best Buy is about 45 miles away). The antenna I linked, for example, doesn't tell you anything about what type of antenna it is other than being mounted outdoors for best reception and capable of receiving UHF, VHF and Digital signals within a 50 mile range of the broadcasting station (which I'm pretty close to the limit on, being 47 miles from all of them that I would normally watch).

Ok, well, can you take a screenshot of the results page? If I can see that, especially the angles it lists, I can help you. The antenna you have is a Medium Directional, so it would receive any stations that are listed as Red, Light Blue, Green or Yellow, as long as it's pointed at them. If you have stations at far enough apart angles, you will need to some way to turn the antenna to receive those channels.

 I don't actually have the linked antenna yet, I'm wondering what the over/under is on it working where I live if installed on the old satellite dish pole in the yard and pointed in a given compass direction (East Southeast toward Atlanta, etc.) to greater effect than the cheapo indoor HDTV antenna I tried today. For what it's worth, a cheap $25 indoor HDTV antenna from Wal-mart only gets a clear signal from that ION station, FOX and the CW station, with a lot of black channels where the TV has a popup saying the signal is too weak after filtering out no signal at all channels with the automatic scan (and that's after moving it as far from the TV itself as the cable that came with that antenna will allow), near a window. What kind of singing? This isn't really answering your question I guess but I know a lot of singers (musical family) and they would all say that one of the key things a (real) singing teacher does is expose you to new repertoire based on your voice and your ability. I'd try to find a teacher (or site) which specialises in the style you want, so that they would hopefully have a wide range of songs within that style. That said real teachers are also important because it's very easy to make mistakes with your technique and never notice them, and lessons in person have much better chances of spotting and correcting that. I know you said 'just for fun' but it is possible to harm your voice by singing 'wrong' so you want to be a bit careful. Teachers are fallible too however and there are a great many poo poo ones in the field that the singers I know work in. TL;DR I know jack about singing websites but be careful with making your choice... I guess you already knew that!

Yeah, anything that purports to teach you to sing without hearing you is bullshit. When learning to sing, it's not just about learning good technique, it's about correcting your form in ways that you'll never be able to perceive on your own. Even professional singers continue to study with voice teachers in order to keep things in check. There are an awful lot of things going on in your body when you're singing, and it's impossible to make a catch-all website that will help every person.

So my car now has a transmission issue that is going to take over $2,000 to fix. It also has issues with the brakes, the radio display doesn't work, etc etc. It's time for me to buy a new car. I was thinking about going for a brand new car with a long warranty. However, I don't even know how to compare/contrast cars across different models, or where to start. EDIT: I'm an American, so of course I need guides or advice that would relate to my country of course. I looked in AI, but it's obviously way beyond me.

This is a question for people who are or have worked in grocery stores. When I go to a grocery store, I usually use a hand basket to load up my goods.  When I go to the register, sometimes people take out their items and place it on the belt and then place the basket on the floor the register - usually blocking some candy/magazine that's at the register. When one person does it, people usually follow lead and also place their basket where the first person did. So then there ends up being a stack of baskets in front of the register - blocking the lower shelf. Then an employee will later on take the stack and place it back in the front. When I go to the register, I usually place the basket with all my items on the conveyor belt. I feel that this is easier for them but I'm not really sure. Which is the better option?

Its like everyone thinks he's a king or something. "OBAMA WILL FIX THE ECONOMY!" I will say, though, working at a store with no conveyor belt and a very small counter: it usually takes longer if the person has to pick each item up carefully, set it on the counter, I pick it up again to scan, and then put in the bag. On the other hand, when they just put their basket on the counter, the items only have to be touched once, and then I can put the basket in a designated area behind the register with me. So in conclusion, I'd say it depends on the store but leaving it in the walkway at the front of the register is always wrong.

It's why you see people saying "If Obama ran the US like a business he'd been fired a long time ago" when there is almost nothing similar between the two. Also people who complain about the post office not making a profit drive me nuts.
