Never mind that, what about my sneak Bosmer ranger and his ebony bow (exquisite)? I'm trying to save the College of Winterhold from some Thalmor hijinks and your post is just no help at all. <>

Hes great cause he sneaks also and its awesome when I my magicka runs out and moments later an arrow pops enemy in the side of the head. Also if you get him as your follower, you can pay him to train archery then trade with him to take all the money back.

That Faendal thing didn't even occur to me and I have him as a follower. I already have like 89 bow though, so I don't know whether he can still train me. I've sort of run out of stuff to buy though given how generic the weapons and armour are. I have 40,000 gold and about a 1,000 arrows, so the only thing I might need to spend money on are healing potions.

(hint: the barrel by the stairs is the best place I've found in there opposed to tossing them on the floor)

There's plenty of other skills you can waste money getting trained up. Ingredients for armour/enchanting/alchemy can be pretty expensive. As Spiff mentioned, a couple of fully furnished houses will wipe that out in no time.

LOK VAH KOOR would come in handy. Especially when it's about 2 degrees outside (and raining) and my heated grips go "lol we're not working today bro"

It was too icy from yesterday's snow to commute on the bike - now that we've got a special Employees Only lane at Security, I can quit worrying about whether my boots have a metal shank in them or not. Just in time for Snow Season to start in earnest. :yay: Anyway, too icy. I probably would have had to use the LAI EIRD AOUN shout. You're never in a good spot when that happens.

LOK VAH KOOR is the best for rainy weather in my opinion. Now somebody figure out where I can get a full-faced version of this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PUFFER-FISH...#ht_1412wt_1163 Because holy crap. Also I have no idea how many more quests I actually have to do. I have about 50 miscellaneous quests and another 15 quest lines and I haven't even been to more than 75% of the cities.

I fell victim to skyrim too. Played from 5pm to 2am in the morning without realising how quickly time passed. Once you get sucked into the main story line its really quite addicting. Though I feel like I should do some of the smaller quests and level up some more as I'm only on 16. My bow only recently became useful as a weapon and I'm almost perpetually broke (<1000 gold).. Also, motorcycles or something. I don't really remember anything else anymore.

I'm now level...12? 14? somewhere in that range, have three Words of Power, and haven't even seen a HINT of the main questline, even having stumbled (by accident, I was on my way back to Malkreath with a quest item from Riften) into Riverwood. The only fast-travelling I've done is: * I took the wagon to Riften the first time. * I fast travel to Shor's Stone to use the Smelter when I need to. If I didn't I'd wind up with so much ore in my pockets that I wouldn't be able to run. It takes long enough running. gently caress walking. * Fast travel back from completing one quest that took me all the way across the map. Folks that say "I fast travel, and after (x) hours I've only done a tiny part of the content!" don't realize how much of the content you wind up doing incidentally by NOT fast-travelling. =)

Well, good news. Zoran has the title for my bike...clean CA title. Now I'm torn...I might just strip all of the aftermarket stuff off and net myself a super cheap SV650. I'd have to find a 3rd bike for a donor engine and stuff, but that should be doable... A certain forum buddy decided they'd like to send me a wedding gift. I received this e-mail:quote:The package will contain 1 (one) item. Thanks buddy. That's definitely one of the most unique wedding gifts I've ever received. Although he lied. The package actually contained 2 items: The crossbow with 3 bolts, and another package of like 15 more bolts. One bolt is already lost in the depths of the undergrowth of my friend's backyard. Might have to find that at some point...who knows where the gently caress it is though.
