What is with Nami's face in this episode? She doesn't have a traditional female Oda Nami face at all.

New episode's up

Good episode. I thought it was really well animated particularly the opening bits with the Kraken and the ending with the Flying Dutchman/the Strawhats' reactions to it.

Also, basically anything involving Franky was perfect. That's not a spoiler because everyone already knows that.

I totally lost it during Franky discovering Caribou in the barrel, the slow lean-in, and Caribou noticing. That awkward lid-lowering bit was amazing.

I didn't think that scene could get any funnier than it was in the manga. The anime is on a roll lately. Brook adding a bizarre little drumroll while rambling to himself was also pretty great.

This episode was hilarious but I think my favorite part was when the crew is escaping all of the giant sea life and everyone is shrieking and panicking, the Thousand Sunny's lion face was also scared.

If they get eaten, maybe it'll turn out to be another nakama's long lost nakama containing a new story arc and a pirate king crew member.

Great episode as always! I'm loving Brooke's quest to continue to awkwardly do something in the background of a scene. His random little song once Luffy and company returned was hilarious.

Also, can anyone tell me if Sanji's nose bleeds and all that actually account to something plot related. I've taken to referring to it as Chekhov's nose bleed as it seems to pop up too much to be a gag.

At the current progression of her clothes getting less and less covering I imagine sometime around when we next run into Blackbeard she'll be topless anyway, so by then it won't matter.

Of course not, it's a one-piece suit, nothing that revealing.

I wouldn't be surprised though if at some point she ended up with a "weather bra" or something where the only thing covering her chest was a convenient fog.

That's really all it's about, no reference to anything. There's some history behind it involving old men or something, but that's the reference, it's just your normal anime thing.

I'm not going to lie - Chopper is my least favorite straw hat. He's gotten less annoying to me recently, and even somewhat funny, but he still can't compare. He's like 4, doesn't belong with the others, I hate the way he's drawn, and his power makes no sense. What part of human human fruit do you get horn powers from? And worse yet, I'm visiting Japan right now, and he's plastered over *everything!* He's more popular than rice!

I like Chopper. His innocence amuses me and I still laugh at the gimmick where he starts swearing when people compliment him. Plus Tony Tony Chopper is the best name. Can't say I dig his new hat though.

I think Robin is my least favorite. She's not really funny and I don't remember her fighting anyone important or doing it in a particularly interesting way. And it bugs me that I don't know if her revolutionary jaunt trained in her in any way.

She can make full clones of herself now and her giant appendages look like actual appendages instead of thousands of arms in the shape of said appendage. On the other hand we haven't seen how much information she's added from the revolutionaries, though it would be somewhat hard to tell what's new knowledge and what's old knowledge she just hasn't shared yet.

It shifts every week between Franky, Usopp, and Sanji for me. Occasionally Luffy and Zoro will also take the spot.

Robin's straight-faced morbidness is pretty funny at times.

Chopper's only as popular as he is because he's the mascot of the show. Kids love 'im.

Chopper will always have a place in the upper tier for me simply for the 'hiding behind a door the wrong way' gag.

Some of the other character's little quirks and traits start to feel a little played out, but that one never ever will. Gets me rolling every time.
