For 10 cents each, they're all worth it. Looks like it's going to be 10 apps a day for 10 days, there's an ad at the top of the main Market page. Nice way to spend . Splizwarf fucked around with this message at 17:24 on Dec 6, 2011 |

I was just coming here to mention the Market deal. At $.10 a piece, there's almost no reason not to try them all. I hope this becomes a regular Steam-style thing, not just a one-off.

The difference between this and Steam is that the apps on super sale here were made in the last 8 years.

On the page for the sketch program there's a video where the user is using a stylus with his phone. I'm going to get a tablet sooner rather than later and a stylus and that sketch program would be nice. Is that a special stylus I can buy, or...?

I got a few of the $.10 apps from Amazon for free, but I'm getting them again through the Market. Apps seem to get updated sooner there so for a dime each, why not? Edit: poo poo. I accidentally uninstalled Endomondo Sports Tracker PRO and got a cancellation notice. I tried to reinstall it but it's telling I haven't purchased it yet. I get this message on my EVO 3D and TouchPad. When I got on the website it still shows as purchased and I try to push it out but neither device downloads it. I'm concerned that I may have lost the chance to get that for $.10, drat it. letsgoflyers81 fucked around with this message at 18:37 on Dec 6, 2011 |

Are Android apps tied to an account? A lot of these apps would be more useful on a phone than my tablet but I'm stuck on a lovely Eris that's trapped on 2.1, and I was hoping to buy these apps while they're cheap and then install them on my new phone once I get that in the spring. This is awesome but ten days of 5-10 separate 10 cent transactions is going to be a pain in the rear end. They really need a multiple-item cart function.

Since the games thread doesn't seem to exist anymore, I'll ask here. Does anyone know of an anagram game that works like Yahoo's web version of Text Twist, or iOS's Word Warp? I found something called TextTwist 2 and at least with the demo version, you can only input so many words of a given length, e.g. 6 3-letter words. Also, the words aren't sorted alphabetically, which makes things a bit harder.

So, I'm going to be getting a Galaxy Nexus whenever the gently caress it comes out, but I've got my current Thunderbolt rooted. I've got Titanium Backup (paid for), but I didn't purchase it through the Market -- I got a .txt file on my SD with it that acts as the license key. How will this work with the GNex if it doesn't have any removable storage?

You can still transfer files, it just works differently.

How do I stop the Amazon appstore notifications? Also, can I get the free daily app without having to download it? I can just delete it from the cache folder, but it's extra work.

Can't, and it's become the bane of my existance on my phone. I'm currently in the process of going through the apps that I actually like and use that I've gotten free and buying them from the android market so that I can remove the amazon store from my phone. You can goto the amazon website ( http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b/ref=sa_menu_mas2?ie=UTF8&node=2350149011 ) click buy. It will buy it without sending it to your phone. But you will get the message that you have a new app for download.

The Appstore is a goddamn pain in the rear end and I hope Kindle Fire buyers complain about it until it gets fixed.

It's gotta be worse for people on stuff like an N1 waiting for Christmas. Is there a workaround for that? Also, on the note of picking everything up, get the coloring book app; down the road you're bound to run into a kid who needs distracting.

I need something better than the google reader app, preferably one that isn't overloaded with sharing crap, has a decent UI and isn't as horribly slow as GR often is.

This paid version presumably will never charge.
