Also gently caress, Suzuka Minami ruled and it's a shame her career wasn't longer (retired in '95) without her ever really making it past the midcard (unlike her Marine Wolves partner, Akira Hokuto). She was an excellent wrestler. Also speaking of Hokuto... Red Typhoons (Kazue Nagahori & Yumi Ogura) vs. Hisako Uno & Yumiko Hotta - 2/3 falls for the WWWA Tag Team Championship http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKRXKY55Ozw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyGTYLkUF4Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4j-moWRbjxA AKA the match where the future Akira Hokuto wrestles the final fall with a literal broken freakin' neck. It's actually a really good match besides that too. On one hand it's like "why the gently caress would you let her continue?!", on the other watching her work her rear end off while having to hold her neck is amazing and probably the very definition of gutsy... well that and more guts than brains.

The shooter side (which included Kazama and Shinobu Kandori) didn't get along with/looked down on the pro wrestler side until the company split into LLPW and JWP in '92. Driving your partner out on a bicycle built for two isn't exactly the best way to introduce someone who is (apparently) meant to look like a badass, but I guess it's better than a lawnmower.
