I'm not sure what a "Harmonious crankshaft" is, but I'm pretty sure your engine isn't "running smoothly" if you need to replace it.

Holy poo poo, I think that dude called my dealership asking how much a "harmonious crankshaft" would run him. The service writer who answered had no idea what he was talking about, and it took me and another tech much longer than any of us liked to explain to both the writer and the dude on the phone that they were probably looking for a harmonic balancer. Looks like he didn't listen.

I think people just don't bother to import them. The GTS-T and GTS-4 are great cars, but I can't justify spending near GT-R money on one (might as well just spend more and get a good GT-R). If they were 5-7K? Sure. If I find a reasonably priced GTS4() I may spring for it.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/2738491390.html No screencap, as it has no pics in the ad, but I've seen pics of the truck and the exterior looks great but I haven't seen the inside. My best friend's brother works for a fish monger and wants a work/personal truck that's gonna get decent mileage under $1500. I'm taking him to look at this on wednesday, these 80's rangers seem to be pretty reliable right? The amount of stuff he has to carry could fit in a mini van or a large trunk so it's not like he needs a diesel longbed or something. Anything else he should be considering? Aren't the 80s Rangers just Mazda B series trucks with a different badge/front clip? My dad had an 86 back in the 90s and it was a pretty nice truck before he destroyed it (as he did/does with all cars, this one died from either the valve cover gasket leaking so bad that it soaked the air filter and caught on fire or the carb broke and soaked the air filter in gas, it was a pretty long time ago and I was only a kid).
