Anyone else find Danny Brown's voice to be grating? I'm becoming a bigger fan of him for his lyricism and good ear for production but his whiny voice is really hard to listen to for more than 1 song. Also, what's the deal with his freestyle face? Looks like an autist or something. yeah i think im coming up on danny brown pretty late too but hes definitely compelling. first heard him on the huzzah remix and ive been digging through his poo poo since. i like his voice though, it has personality.

Got like 5 Danny Brown tapes off DatPiff yesterday.I've loved XXX since the 3rd listen, was listening to it all Summer interspered with P-Money, Big K.R.I.T. and Three 6. I got C&S XXX, Bruiser Brigade and Monopoly work well but the rest didn't really catch my ear. I've been listening to a best of danny brown mixtape off DP. I haven't really gotten to know many of the tracks throughly yet, though Contra is a great tune, but I can just leave all of the Danny I have downloaded (minus C&S XXX) and not skip once. Danny Brown is awesome. His awkward mic demeanor reminds me of those super smart 9-year olds at spelling bees. He's like the rapping equivalent of Jeff Magnum. So I guess that means we'll be seeing Danny Brown t-shirts sold at walmart in 15 years...
