I'm betting the gurm does nothing with Sandor. I'm actually hoping he leaves him monking around. I don't want his character hosed up for me like gurm did to Tyrion. edit: Unless he happens to bump into Dany, she spergs about her fire-breathing dragons, and she notices his scar moments before he smashes her face to a pulp with a mail-clad fist. and then he, Bronn and Syrio Forel join up and have merry adventures. Ten years ago, a disgraced Lannister bannerman, a sell sword, a "dancing teacher" and a assasin were sent to the dungeons by the King's justice for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from the dungeons of King's Landing to the Riverlands. Today, still wanted by the realm, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The W-Team. Starring Sandor Clegane as B.A. Hound, Bronn as his himself, Syrio Forel as The Teacher and Jaqen h'ghar as Face, with guest appearances by Moqorro as "The Priest" and Quiburn as "The Healer".

What I like is that in ACoK there's this giant gently caress-off army of Ice Spiders and Wildlings, then in Book 3 there's a fuckton of Others going about.... and they're all basically pushed back. I mean yeah they're building up to a siege on the Wall, but honestly it seems like Westeros would be able to hold them off fairly well and we're relying on the fear of the unknown to leave these as a threat.

INT: COURTROOM King Tommen sits on the Iron Throne with his KINGSGAURD in front of him. Qyburn enters and Queen Regent Cersei looks towards him. CERSEI Maester Qyburn, is the Judge Advocate ready to proceed. QYBURN Yes, your Grace Bronn watches silently as a 6-foot hooded figure walks awkwardly into the room bows before Tommen and Cersei. The figure lowers his hood, his face hidden from the audience. Behind him Bronn is noticeably disturbed and amused. CERSEI Judge Advocate Pounce, you may begin. SER POUNCE Bronn, you were ordered to evacuate with your men. You disobeyed those orders and stayed behind. 'Operation Friends of Liberty' was your chance for larceny. You planned it all along, did you? BRONN As a sellsword, you learn the same lesson over and over. Nothing ever comes together the way you plan it. Ser Pounce walks back. Stops. Turns. SER POUNCE One last question. Isn't it true you've traveled extensively beyond The Wall? Bronn just stares at Ser Pounce, shrugging. LATER: The Hound and Bronn stand in front of the King and Queen Regent. Jaqen is conspicuously missing. CERSEI On the twenty-six counts. the King finds you guilty as charged. The King, however, is merciful and you will serve our your sentences with the Night's Watch. BANG, gavel down. the COURTROOM bursts in to chaos. LITTLEFINGER is suddenly standing right in front of Bronn B.A. THE HOUND We were set up. And would been found guilty even without Tyrell's testimony. LITTLEFINGER You were given a fair trial. Littlefinger reaches out. Takes off The Hound's helm. An insult, and a humiliation. B.A. THE HOUND I'll be coming for that. LITTLEFINGER Somehow I don't think you will.

He was a sellsword and good at his job but he committed the ultimate sin and testified against other sellswords gone bad. Sellswords that tried to kill him but got the woman he loved instead. Framed for murder, now he prowls the badlands, an outlaw hunting outlaws, a bounty hunter, a RENEGADE.

Not necessarily, but it is when the discrepancy becomes so big that page and screen version might as well have been two completely different characters. It's still an adaptation after all and not a wholly original teleplay.
