the way the urethra passes THROUGH the prostate is pretty much the definition of terrible design. well, that and having the tube that consumes food and water be the same tube that's used to breathe. e: also, having the nerves carrying the signals from rods and cones travel on the surface on the retina and gathering in a blind spot, rather than passing behind the retina (like it does in squids, what up trig) is objectively terrible too.
