just how AI do you think this is? I don't have any specifics on it yet. I figure it's probably best to just go take a look with my own eyes because, 1) it's in Richmond and 2) the poster doesn't seem to have a very firm grasp of english. oh and 3) because I really want to see just how well a turbo car that can't hold gas and needs an exhaust manifold gasket and O2 sensor can run. edit: OH MY GOD. I just called him and he sounds an awful lot like Father Guido Sarducci. He's decided not to sell it though fml. GnarlyCharlie4u fucked around with this message at 19:50 on Dec 30, 2011 |

I think it has something to do with how an inertial dyno measures power by measuring the acceleration of the rollers, which is affected by the size and mass of the wheels.

Luckily, the more modern MS hardware connects right up, more or less. Its alright, don't expect it to run correctly all the time, tuning takes forever to get it perfect. Also its really expensive, and has an awful intake design. MATLAB 1988 posted:LWB Fiero. Don't worry guys, it's all professional work. Not that's its a big deal or anything but that's a Gen 1 3.5L out of a Eagle Vision, Dodge Intrepid, Chrysler Concorde LHS or New Yorker. 300m Got the 2nd gen Version, which ditched the silly dual throttle body setup, and went from an Iron block to all Aluminum.. I am seeing these LH Car drivetrains end up in all sorts of oddball cars these days, since its longitudinally mounted but the transmission sends the power to the front, its an easy fab job to use one in a rear engine setup. There is a VW Beetle floating around CA with one of these in a rear-engine config that shows up to the cars and coffee meets now and then..

The Gen 1 3.5 isn't terrible. Not great either. The Gen 2 is a way better engine, more power and it seems like the power is better delivered. The transmission backing them isn't that terrible either, just really sensitive to the fluid.

i'm guessing if that's an option you actually need, price is no object. Honestly, I want to see it end up at a junkyard and stuff the local BMW forum full of questions about why their car is suddenly listing to one side after swapping on a new passenger door.
