Only a true hoon could get kicked out of a burnout competition, he has earned my respect in that matter. Also, lol at the idea of this as some sort of "sport". Edit: I wonder what sort of cooling systems these guys run? There was never an intent to hurt someone, and absolutely no one was hurt. Was it stupid and rude? Yes. But those guys are in more danger when they jaywalk. Given that a couple of them tried to assault him when he got out of the car, I would say the score is even. What people do to each other ever day on the highways road raging is worse. If even the organizers have reversed their position and have invited him to come help run the show next year, dont you think you lot are overreacting a bit?

Yes, in fact attempting to run someone over with a car is in fact assault with a deadly weapon. What the hell did you miss about this? If someone did the same to a cop they'd have been shot, legitimately. Had any of the officials held their ground, they would have been run over. As noted, the decision was reversed on a technicality, the rules did not explicitly allow for a lifetime ban. The invitation for next year was as far as I see the organization "being the bigger man" and basically saying "since we can't ban you, come see this poo poo from our side and maybe you'll learn something".

I used to race HO scale slot cars back in the 90's and yeah, those cars are ridiculous compared to what I ran. That poo poo can be really competitive. Best I ever ran was like 3rd, and boy did the 50 year olds get mad at 15 year old me. It was hilarious selling an old Aurora to one for $400 after I got it in a box of random slot car poo poo at a flea market for like $20. I made like $700 total off of that box
