I returned home (with notifactions on) and waited for it to check the location and turn wifi back on, but after two checks it still wouldn't recognize I was within 1000m of home. I deactivated and reactivated Woofi and as soon as I did that it immediately turned on wifi, even though the notification bar kept saying it was disabled.

Is there any decent DLNA client out there? Preferably something without a proprietary server or that will work with mediatomb. I've found lots of apps that claim to be DLNA compliant but none are working.

I did my wipe and reflash, still experiencing the issue. I'll go ahead and try to get ahold of the developer to make them aware of the issue, but for the meantime, I need a functioning alarm to get up for work so I'll install Alarm Clock Xtreme. hotsauce posted:Switched to Alarm Clock Extreme and prefer it over Gentle Alarm. Preferably only with vibration as that was particularly one feature I liked about Gentle Alarm.

In PowerAmp, is it possible to play a playlist in a random order, repeatedly? It seems like I fought it enough just trying to get it to shuffle only one playlist, and from what I've seen, there isn't a random option.

If you do shuffle-songs or shuffle-songs/lists with repeat-list, it'll run through your playlist in random order, then repeat it in that same order, which I don't think you want. You'd have to manually switch back and forth between lists to make it generate a new random order.

Can anyone recommend a PDF reader app that allows you to swipe from page to page in portrait view, rather than just scrolling down and up like the Adobe Reader app does (UK WiFi only Xoom running 3.2)?

ManMythLegend posted:I've got a Verizon Galaxy Nexus. What do you mean "after two checks"? It should only be checking because it thinks your near home... Do you mean it checks but doesn't connect to WiFi? If so, try increasing the WiFi timeout in the app preferences. By default it is 10 seconds but some phones/routers take longer than that to establish a connection. After 10 seconds woofi assumes you're near your home but not near enough to connect to your access point, so it turns WiFi off for the "Check interval" amount of time before it checks again.

If you're running the beta, you can try turning on the log in the preferences. This will log to woofi.log in the SD card root. If you send it to me after having your problems (app_woofi@contriving.net), I'll see if I can't figure something out. Be aware that the log will contain your location data, so I'll be able to leave my wife and child and pick up a life of stalking you.

Is there an accepted 'best app' for shuffling/randomizing your ringtones? I used both ShuffleTone and one other (the name escapes me), but each of them stopped working and was never updated to an extent that they started again (my notifications were being set to random media files stored on my phone, which I guess is as randomized as it gets). I'm just wondering if the free ones are best, or if there's one that is worth paying for. Droid X2, not rooted, in case there's compatibility issues involved with this sort of thing.
