This is why at the end of the terrestrial run, the last thing he was demanding was for Howard to have Simon Cowell basically force Carrie or Kelly Clarkson into a "date" with him. He just figures that in his presence they'll just give in to him not because of charm or wit or anything, but because he'll push the right buttons. Its truly warped. I'm not really sure of the details, but I guess Mike the owner of SFsN was threatened with lawsuits for having copyrighted material on the site. So he closed down the board. He started a thread on Dawgsaloon explaining a little of what happened. He does about 126 shows per year. That's 3 shows a week times 42 weeks (they take 10 weeks of vacation). They probably do fewer shows actually, since they take holidays like MLK Day off as well. I don't know what Howard gets paid on this current contract, but the last contract was $80 million a year. If this contract is the same, he gets paid $634,920 per show or $158,730 per hour.
