I'm most excited about the fact that they're using a Nike ball. That could mean that CONCACAF finally got rid of the crap Puma balls. Oh, 11-0. Wow, the Canadian announcers have totally turned against the US. Mostly the fact that Pia Sundhage is celebrating every goal like it's a World Cup winner. Can't really fault them for that though. I was at a bar. I saw a scoreline that said 14-0. I assumed it was a football (the american kind) game of some kind. Then I saw soccer. WHAAA?!? I really wish I'd been around to watch this game. That's a goal every 6.5 minutes. Craziness. You'd think they would have just stopped at some point.

It's actually a lot closer then I thought it was in terms of Premier league-only stats. Dempsey 209 games across all competitions (169 EPL), 52 goals (42 EPL). McBride 154 games across all competitions (140 EPL), 41 goals (33 EPL).

The Collector posted:Mandon has an insane scoring record for the nats though. Not really. 46 in 138 is a .33 goals per game rate. Dempsey has 24 in 82 for a .29 goals per game rate. Add the fact that Donovan takes all of the penalties and you'll probably find that Dempsey has a higher conversion rate from open play.

Benny with the most caps out of that group at 38. Also, Jones as captain just means he gets to argue with the ref when he gets carded. Should be interesting to watch.
