Of course blue/black isn't as big of a contrast as black/white.

I'd be very surprised. It's much nicer, but isn't the reason why most clubs have changed their crest because it's difficult to copywrite the old ones?

No way they're abandoning the current crest for the Liverbird, at least, not without traditional levels of #SCOUSEHYSTERIA. The Gates are a memorial to Shankly and the flames are from the Hillsborough Memorial on there...
