What are they, why are they, what is their deal, do they actually exist? People want to know. My personal theory is that before the fall pineapples were just a different flavour of apple but the introduction of sin into the world made their sweetness hard to get to and burny to eat too much of.

All of the emails listed on snopes are pretty fun to read. But they read more like jokes than Chain E-mails. I would say they're fairly liberal in that they are jokes that oppose racism and homophobia, but they're also the kind of things that I think most people who consider themselves Conservative would laugh at or approve of. Especially the one you saw on Facebook. They're much closer to Liberal Chain-emails than anything else I've seen (except the Palin e-mail), but they just don't have the bite that the Atheist Professor, Socialist Professor, or "Obama is the first president to..." emails do.

Hey guys and gals here's another gem. Evidently Obama is just like Castro! Black Panthers didn't get prosecuted because they only hated whites, GM was stripped of their assests without due process, etc. The best part is the actual font in the e-mail is literally a mix between 4 - 20 font size, and the color switches from black to red with no rhyme or reason. Sorry for the length but this one is all over the place. I just don't even know.

But then he said it. The sentence came naturally. I assume it was unplanned. But it carried the weight of a freight train. "You know when Castro took power; none of us knew he was a Communist".

We sat stunned. He continued, "Yes, we all thought he was a patriot, a nationalist. Before the revolution he didn't sound like a radical."
The comparison at this point was easy, and I interjected, "You mean just like Barack Obama?"

He responded; "Yes, just like Barack Obama."
He continued, "We were all shocked as the government just continued to grab more power. First they said the revolution is over, so please turn in your guns. We all complied."

I remember my uncle saying after it started; Castro will only nationalize some of the big industries. He will never come and take our family hardware store!! But that is exactly what happened. Castro started with the sugar mills and the large industries, but they eventually came and knocked on the door of our family hardware store. My family had run this store for generations. They said we now own the hardware store, you work for us. And that nice, large four-bedroom home you own... it is now our property also, and... you can move yourself and five children into two rooms of the house, because others are moving in with you."
The lesson learned from this discussion, is a lesson most Americans refuse to hear. Political leaders can lie about their agenda and once in office... they can take totally unexpected turns.

If you had asked us three years ago if we thought General Motors would be nationalized, we would have never believed it. We could never contemplate a country where the rule of law, the most fundamental building block of a justice society... would be evaporating, just like it did in Castro's Cuba in the early 1960's.

But the news of injustice keeps increasing. Black Panthers are not charged with wrong doing by the U.S. Department of Justice... because their crimes are against whites. The bondholders of GM are stripped of their assets... without due process by the government! Governmental leaders are bribed in full daylight... only to have all investigation of the crimes stifled...by the Attorney General.

The U.S. borders are over run with crime and illegal activity, and the leaders in D.C. act as if it is important to protect the lawbreakers... while the innocent are killed and over run. When local communities attempt to enforce the law, they are ridiculed... and threatened as racists and bigots. They are sued by the very administration... entrusted with enforcing the law.

Without the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution is a sham!! Without the rule of law, our beloved America is swiftly becoming a country where only the well connected and politically powerful will be safe. As Michelle Malkin has so eloquently explained in her recent book... A Culture of Corruption has replaced honest government.
The only way this problem will be fixed, is by massive citizen action. All honest citizens that want to be treated equally, must come together... and demand that the favoritism, the bribes, the uneven enforcement of law...end now!! And yes, it can happen here.

PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!! And... May God save the United States of America!

But seriously it's only because people who write/believe these kinds of e-mail are insane and having strong punctuation is key to convincing your reader base your telling the truth, or at least that's the best I can figure lol. You're right though, they always have unnecessary excess of punctuation going on in these type of e-mails.

Look at how many exclamations is used, this poo poo must be legit and serious!

You would have loved the e-mail in it's original form them lol. It literally went from Font Size 10 to 4 to 20 to 16 with no Rhyme or Reason, and on top of that the Font Color would shift between Black and Red with no Rhyme or Reason as well.

I'm surprised it doesn't require a Warning: If you have a history of seizures please consult your doctor before reading this e-mail.

Brotha honestly best I can figure is Confirmation Bias. People just want poo poo that says their way of thinking is correct and will forward it to everyone and their brother just to say "Look see, I told you I was right!"

I have literally yet to receive any reply from my Uncle when I send him back a reply that proves the e-mail contents are bogus or at least challenges the e-mails message with a legitimate argument. He doesn't want to hear it, he just wants to spread his belief around regardless of facts I suppose :shrug:

My aunt is the same way. Obama gonna ruin everything and Democrats are gonna destroy the United States! Anytime I try to even have a discussion with her when she brings up politics it's "No no no, I'm right, you're wrong, blah blah blah" or my favorite "Ohh you must be drinking that Obama Kool-Aid!".

Christ, this is just "whining on the yacht" so to speak. Yes, we sat around stuffing our faces with burgers and brats, played a little bean bag toss, had a few brewskies, took a dip in the pool and cried ourselves to sleep that night over how awful life in this country is! It's an insult to anyone whose actually had to live in a truly repressive regime.

I also thought the bolded part was funny. Like the email was meant for an international audience that isn't familiar with American food.
